We would love a 550 version!!!
I have an old E-Maxx that could use a pair of new 550 motors😄
We do have the 12t trailmaster 550 right now!
Thats true but I just love the 90s neon color schemes of the retro series!!!!
Yes I love to see 550
The old rebuildable 540's came in all kinds of winds, like 14t single, double, triple and quad. I remember the singles working well in buggies but burn up in boats. But yhe quad wind worked in boats.
I think a 550 with similar RPM to a 17 turn 540 would be perfect for modified Clod Busters.
10t please!
You guys coming to Beat the Creek??
I wish!
love this motor. have one sitting waiting for another tamiya build.
Kinda Reminds me of the Speedworks motors I had in my Ultima around 1986
I'ma gonna break mine in with WATER!
Probably not but I sure sound cool, like I might actually race some day....yeah probably not.
Sure would give a 15 turn variant a try in a ta02 rally car. I bet it would be just the ticket. I don't dare run it on asphalt, because I'm sure it would liquefy the internals.
How about 12 turn double, or 10 turn triples!!! Or even a 9 double
I would certainly pay $20 for a 550 size motor. I've been buying the Crawlmaster Sport 550 motors. How do they compare?
These have more torque than crawlmaster
@@HolmesHobbies I thought that was what the torque ring would do.
Thanks for the reply!
I have been running rc cars since late 80s and Your motors are all I run in my lmts/smt10 monster trucks and slashes and crawlers these days and never disappoint me 💪 and since I’m rebuilding my old first gen emaxx just haven’t decided on which brushed motors to use when I’m done rebuilding just know they won’t disappoint on whatever motors i choose 👌👍
How dare you blaspheme the RC10! lol We race them in both stealth and 6-gear versions with BL, but you definitely don't want to go lower than a 17.5t in the 6 gear. Ha! These are perfect for running them brushed, though, and all of the old Tamiya, Kyosho, etc... that are known to have weaker trannies in them. ♥
If you truly made retro rebuildable motors with the brush heatsinks, colored composite end bells, springs, and flashy stickers with witty names. You could take my money easily.
Please explain the Flux Ring.
Thanks
Love the retro sports. They are my favorite. I run them on my kyosho and Tamiya’s. 19t & 17t I run the most. Love to see a 13t retro sport??? 😁
Besides turn count how are these different than a trailmaster?
Loud sticker colors 😆
@HolmesHobbies hahah that's what I thought. So if a guy wanted he could use this in a crawler and it would handle it fine
@@HolmesHobbies loud stickers = fun & performance
I thought I would I try one of these in my tamiya m07. But it’s a little too chonky to fit 😢.
I run these in a few tamiya's. The 17t is a nice sweet spot for the hot shot.
I had a comment…there it goes…🦋
Do you still get a stickler in the package?
Yes a 550 please in a 12t
Need a 550 option for the dual motor 1st gen EMAXX and dual motor E Savage. 4s lipo or 12-14 cell NIMH.
12t trailmaster 550 is already in the catalog!
I like lava lamps.
Does an E-Maxx from 2005 count as vintage? Make 550 version and I will revive it!
We've got 12t trailmaster 550 that works well in emaxx!
My 1 question is what motor was in the lunch box that jumped over you guys 😅😅
Lil tugger I'm pretty sure
Retro.
What's the timing set to on these? Hoping for zero for Clod applications.
Zero. Debating f/r in the future to eek out more rpm
@@HolmesHobbies Noice!
I wanting to know how much longer we have to wait for servos ????????
I don't think they are going to do servos anymore. Maybe I'm wrong, I really hope I am because I love my shv800. It's been bulletproof, and is incredible on 4s. Inferior rod ends on steering links aren't up to the challenge. Only time I've ever actually needed a titanium servo horn.
@@ryurc3033 he has said he is redoing his whole website this year with new products. One of his recent videos he was testing esc, motor an servo. He's just maken shore he has the best of the best made before releasing them. It would be a bad day if I hear he wasn't gonna make more from his mouth himself. I also love my shv800 servos.
On the edge of getting more made!
@@HolmesHobbies thank you!!!!!!
Dang you got everything but an old fashioned tuggy😂
550 would be good 12-27t
We have 12, 21, and 27t 550 in trailmaster type. Same construction, less loud sticker color
Trailmaster 12 550 is perfect for the 2wd slash if you dont want to overpower the drivetrain on 3S.
Oh cool. I have a org. RC10 that's just sitting with no motor/ e s c.. It would love one of these.
That would be cool!
