She mentioned several times that she misses Swarnalatha very much and she sings her songs to keep her memory alive with the audience. Swarnalatha is a great playback singer, however she does not do much stage performance due to health reasons and also her voice is perfect for recording. If both singers respect each other, why are the people here bitching about Chitra and Swarnalatha. These people disrespect both wonderful singers and should be ashamed of themselves.

And that's not struggle that's her way of singing ! Moreover it's difficult to sing swarnalatha songs on stage !👍 and she is suffering from lung disease since childhood , so stop judging 🤐

Swarnalatha is a born talent .. especially ennulle ennulle is her masterpiece.. none can beat her..her style of singing is like that people feel she is undergoing too much strain but accuracy and perfection is good in swarnalatha’s singing. Apart from that her voice is chest voice not false voice... not only that swarnalatha had stage fright and very rarely she has done stage shows. Basically she was an introvert.. very reserved nature.. but down to earth singer. There is a soul in every song of her’s .. none can match the feel which she gives through all her songs. Such an awesome singer she was.
