He definitely had his dad's swagger at the end. Obviously a deliberate attempt to try to convey it.
Mick had no swagger, I like Danny Dyer but he's a bad actor.

I like that this Johnny has some of Mick's style about him.
I think the arrival of Johnny gives the show the perfect reason to write Ben out of the show now, they'll have Ben cheat with Johnny almost certainly. Ben hasn't done much for many months tbh, they are probably only forcing him into this Johnny beef with Dean to give him a storyline.

Johnny was never like this before it was always Lee and Mick that threw punches at Dean but then again that’s recasts for you they completely change the character.
I don't understand why you think people can't change. I don't think a son trying to protect his mother from her rapist is that hard to believe either whether they were violent or not on the past anyway. Phil was never as rude & aggressive as Grant either until after Grant left.
@@1977Suspiriabecause the previous two Johnnys were never violent or even threw a punch now all of a sudden he’s throwing punches and he was also on the square with Dean for a year or two after it all came out yet he never said a word to him it was always Mick and Lee that did even Dean said it here you always done what the big boys told you to do.
@joshuadillon03 So what? You said it yourself, Mick & Lee were around who were his seniors in the family. Now they aren't around he's trying to step up for mother. This is not an implausible reaction mate. People change, dynamics can change - life happens.
@@1977SuspiriaI’m just not a fan of recasted characters at all mate as majority of the time they change the characters personalities you can look at Ben and the previous Peter for examples I’d of preferred Sam Strike the original Johnny to of taken up the role again and not this recast but if you like recasted characters then that’s fair enough but I’m just not a fan personally.
@joshuadillon03 Fair enough but the way I see it is characters who've gone away for years can change a lot on return, especially someone like Johnny who was a teenager when he was in it before now is a full grown man.
Dean isnt scared off anyone😂😂 he doesnt care he got knocked out by geoege he got punched in his face by johnny and whenever George gets in his face all angry and shouting dean is laughing in the mans face constantly everytime😂😂😂😂 dean even challenged George to a fight and George backed down 😂 dean has been picking fights with everyone causing trouble i love it
Dean is probably the best overall thing in this show currently, I'm loving the trouble his bringing.
What about Nish and Ravi
@@CJJJ-hm1sn Overall the best characters on the show currently, Nish has been okay since Christmas however Ravi has been more or less put in the background for now they have extended his family but haven't really done much with it so far they are more involved with Nish then they are Ravi at the moment. Dean is constantly bringing trouble every scene his in his been the main source of entertainment since his return.
I prefer Nish but Deano is great too. Ravi had a brilliant 2023 but hasn’t done anything this year so far.
@CJJJ-hm1sn Ravi is boring atm and I say that as someone who really likes the character.
He had a mad 2023 this year was always a redemption path one

Don't know why everyone hates the recast. I always thought johnny was a wimpy whiny character. I prefer this version of him.
People always say they hate a recast at first, it goes against what they've known previously so don't like it. It's silly to judge instantly, you need to give it a few weeks at least to decipher it's an improvement or not.
Yeah exactly like I think the recasts of Ben have got better and better
They let Ben toughen up, why not Johnny? It's been more than 5 years, it'd be astounding if he couldn't stand up for himself by now.
Recasts are the worst thing ever you just have to look at Ben and the previous Peter for examples they change a recasted characters character and turn them into someone completely different than they were before.
This Johnny is way more menacing than the previous ones.
I never watched it when old Johnny was In it but this character looks good and isn’t a wimpy character so that’s good

@@1977Suspiria I didn’t even notice the height difference tbh, but he looks rougher and more masculine than any other actor who played him plus he’s definitely more aggressive than he used to be.
@@Eddieshorts19 He was never that much of a wimp but he was nowhere near as aggressive as Lee or Mick back then.
