This storyline gives me the impression that someone on the script team lost a bet/dare, and the stipulation was that they had to write a Dean/Gina fling into EE. There was hardly any build up, the whole thing done and dusted in 3 episodes and no real reason for Gina to have any doubts whatsoever, if she hadn’t already.
Gina only just questioning now why people so keen to her away from Dean, like the guy been accused of rape twice and clear everyone believes he is guilty since he step foot back in the square.

Just thinking I wonder if Dean gets the blame for Keanu, as he got away with what he did to Linda so him going down for something Linda did would be justice in a way as he got away with what he did to Linda and gets locked up. Another is Dean finally accepts what he did and takes the wrap as a way to make up for what he did to Linda and in a way give her justice for doing time for something she did as he got away with what he did to her.
I mean this in the nicest way possible (and it can be easily taken for me being rude, I'm not trying to be) Matt's a bit smaller and has aged (faiely normally but noticably) and it kind of suits the way his character has been for a long time. I was watching avidly when he first came in, and the difference in personality is night and day. Nice touch.
