  • In todays video I ventured to Liverpool Lime Street, more specifically, the Low Level station, which is served by Merseyrail on their Wirral line. I intended to film my regular "Trains at" style of video, however a trespass incident near Birkenhead Park allowed this video to be filmed instead! The Low Level of Lime Street station opened in 1977 as part of the new Liverpool Loop line.

I read yesterday, there was an incident at James Street, a fire in an electrical station or something?

Yes I was on the train on that day and they had to skip James street and everybody got off at Lime street instead

Yeah, I heard about that news, some fire in the immediate vicinity of the station caused a few nearby buildings to be evacuated (a hotel involved too I think!).

@@1eatransportnorthwest Oh, they kept the loop open? I thought they may have closed it, I live next to the railway on the Wirral and I heard a number of trains passing in the same direction
