Nixon sadly is only remembered for the Watergate scandal but his legacy around the environment is often overlooked!
Richard M. Nixon wasn't a bad President or man. His achievements were remarable. He was a genius, perhaps the most intelligent President ever, but he was always worried about his political enemies. If, Mr. Nixon did what he did then, now, it would be highly likely that he wouldn't be impeached. I liked Nixon even though I was young when he resigned, but more so because of my grandfather, who was my namesake, taught me who the real Nixon with all his Pros and Cons. The Pros far outweighed the Cons really was. He was brilliant on Foreign Policy, opening China, talking with the U.S.S.R., ending the Vietnam War & even with his at home domestic policies. Nixon was a imperfect human being as we all are. My Grandfather was taken back by Mr. Nixon's dedication to environmental issues. My grandfather was in the Plastics Business. He owned Aurora Plastics Corporation with his Cousin and 2 other partners. Nixon was our smartest and one of the best Presidents, possibly the best President in Amrican history. It's a shame most young people under 40 today regard him as a bad President or associate him with one thing that brought him down, Watergate. His Presidency needs to be looked at again and it needs to be re-evaluated to give him his proper place in our history. My grandfather voted for him twice. (Dr. G.)

My father campaigned for Gene McCarthy. I was a flower child in actuality, I didn't understand what Vietnam was until later in my prime when boyfriends the men who served had Agent Orange
But this man tried to redeem himself
And hopefully the soul learns on
I had a gardening gig once with the landscape designers from Nixon's San Clemente estate. Sorry my left hand is injured
