Lord you are my strength, the strength and rest that I may need to get through the plans you have in store for me, and when I wake I will be full filled with the strength of persistence and peace ❤ Amen thank you !
Question: If God's Holy Spirit indwells you, then are you taking God to church, in order to worship God?
The truth is that God tells us to worship Him in the spirit, and not in the flesh in our "worship Houses" made by hands.
Sadly, I have just learned this truth, and I want to share it with you, so that you may know this truth as well.
We see in Romans 12:1 that we are to worship in the spirit.
Romans 12:1
I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship."
We see in Philippians 3:3 that we are to worship in the spirit, and NOT in the flesh.
Philippians 3:3
"For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh."
Philippians 3:3 says to "have no confidence worshipping in the flesh," so just why are we worshipping in the flesh?
The churches that Paul started were in people's homes for the fellowship (not worship) of members of the "body of Christ.
FELLOWSHIP HOUSES - NOT WORSHIP HOUSES
It is so simple people - but Satan is so crafty.
Satan has blinded the eyes of those who do not follow the commandment of II Timothy 2:15.
II Timothy 2:15
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
I am very ashamed for being deceived by Satan for almost all of my life.
I want for you to know the truth of how to worship God as He tells us to worship Him.
We cannot truly worship God in any assembly, because he tells us to worship Him spiritually!
So, who are we truly worshiping at our assemblies? That is the age-old question.
We all need to wake up and start studying our Bibles.
Don't trust me - don't trust anyone - only trust the word of God.
Study to find the truth.

I feel like I’m in a place where Good is not answering any of my prayers. If I was being completely honest I feel like God enjoys seeing me in this place of suffering and pain and anxiousness. I’m lost because I don’t hear God not even a “don’t worry I got this, but I’m going to drag it out like everything else in your life, until the very last second, and then I’ll bring all crashing down.”
I had a prayer finally answered! From about 4 years of prayers and got the answers and then didnt listen to God! Had a lot of pain because i didnt listen to the answer now im listening! Amazing! Listen to GOD!!!!

@Stevenfurtick._I’d love to speak with you. I’ve been at a point in my life where I just can’t even get out of bed. I need help.
I prayed for my son year after year and he died of an overdosed. It has been a incredibly hard situation to trust God will do anything for me. Mourning and depression took over my mind, BUT I do trust God as I put my feet underneath me and stand up let alone stand in power. I am a daughter of the Most High God!

As a small child I prayed by talking to Jesus. I wasn't a prayer warrior and I didn't pour out list after list, I spoke to Him because I new He was with me. I needed to hear this today. As I listened God told me what I needed to say to my daughter. She is the only one that can do this. Nobody can do it for her. God knows she can do this but she needs to know she can do it she needs to trust that God will be with her and give her the strength to get through this

What a timing... This is exactly what I am facing. similar to the incident shared by pastor losing his dad, I lost my mom to a certain disease. And yes, I can say the fabric of my faith changed post that. I feel scared to ask specific things, I feel not courageous enough to ask desires of my heart anymore..

Before I ever watched you before I ever listen to you before I ever knew you I read that book Audacious Faith when God granted Joshua the sun to stand still. That was the season seeds were planted you prayed over a spot every day you drove by it you told God you wanted it for the church and it took years but it happened that book imprinted on me during this time I was locked up and my mother died from leukemia. My faith was shattered and it took a long time to come back from that. But I never forgot your book. And it's crazy you just brought up your book. I listen to you every morning on my way to work. Your words from God plant seeds in my heart every day and help through my day to day struggles. God will one day make a preacher out of me but I have a long way to go. I pray you read this so you can add me in your prayers as my journey has been a long time coming and I'm finally starting to see what God wants from me. And it's what Satan has over and over struck me down preventing me from getting there. Today is different my walk is different my trust has grown my faith has grown and I thank you for being a big part of that. Maybe one day I'll be on a podium breaking God's word to thousands God Willing. God Bless you Steven may God continue blessing you with his word!!!!

I saw trees planted by the water, many were bent and twisted and missing a few branches,I was astounded as I walked through them and realized they were very very old, and had been underwater many times as it raged and pounded them with all sorts of large and small waterlogged flood debris! I was amazed that they were still standing and growing, even with pieces of them missing, I thought of the song “I shall not be moved”and thought of the majestic trees the song brought to mind , strong and powerful and tall and steadfast , and was truly humbled when I realized these trees were also planted by the water,unmoved ! Sometimes our mind has different expectations from the word pictures we perceive ;these trees were also incredibly strong and powerful and unmoved, with a strength and beauty of tolerance and survival!

I once heard Pastor Steven Furtick speak of sharing how he felt with a friend after being lifted by The Holy Spirit as he prepared his sermon once; I get this excitement in me, when I focus on Jesus, and ask Him for help; i call it a "spiritual high", in a way, and when I do this late at night, it will keep me up when I'm trying to sleep.
When waiting on Prayers to be answered, I'm guilty of letting frustration build up inside me, and if I'm honest, I can see bitterness that will try to consume my heart. This doesn't take away from my Faith, or keep me from seeing Him at work in my daily life, or cause me to forget Allll the Prayers He has answered, and it's necessary to stay grateful, and thankful, and continue to Praise Him! It's all in God's Timing. His Way. His Will. He hears your Prayers! Some just take longer to answer, and more often than not, it's not how you'll expect it! Keep Praising and Thanking God!

I had to hear this. I am a child of God and have been praying for just a few things for over 25 years, that have gone unanswered.
I have been the cat pressed against the wall for so long. I have been living the life of Job and ask the question Jesus asked, many times 'God why have you forsaken me?'
My prayers have usually been answered by those who did not know what I have prayed. God has used others to answer me.
I had to hear this for possible answers.
Yes, my anger is growing, because of lack of devine reply. The ignorance of being human rises.
What do I mean, the ignorance of being human (this may help someone else)?
Getting mad at God does not work. You can be mad at the captain, but the boat is still going where he wants it to go. You can't win. So why get angry? Because you don't understand and everything seems to be falling apart, your prayers seem not to be heard. So, in your plee, you say, if I'm not doing what you want of me, show me your path. And you eventually arrive at your will be done (whatever that may mean). There is no other path. Frustration, fear, lack of knowledge, a human trate is the ignorance.
Wow this hits home for me so much. When I didn't get that miracle for my mother I definitely stuck in that maybe! Ugh. Wow yes anger has grown!! Lord please I'm so here right now! I STILL HAVE FAITH AND ALWAYS PRAYERS! YES THE ADDICTION I PICK ALCOHOL UP ONE NIGHT AND IM ASHAMED BECAUSE I WAS DOING GOOD!!! LORD IM STILL PUTTING IN WORK! PRAY FOR ME!
