Thank you frenn. Yes, I love a good DIY😭❤️. Lolll the commitment was scary for me too but honestly we don’t have to force ourselves to commit lol I feel I’m going to probably have like 2-3 more loc journeys before being fully committed. Do it whenever girl bc you can always comb them out or get a nice hair cut 🫶🏾

I can’t confidently say i trust the hair extensions i used because I only kept them for 3 months. But the hair did hold up pretty well for the 3 months i had it in and I do plan on making a wig with the remaining hair. That could be a good indicator but I also don’t know for sure. I saw this other girl’s video where she bought hers from Etsy and they were really nice. If i find it again I’ll link it so you can see.
Heyyy sisss i loveddd this video and I loved how it turned out look natural I’m going to install mine in about a week but I had a serious question tho so when you got to the bottom of the loc did you just add the curly hair then like interlocked it on ? Or did u finish the Loc all the way down then added the hair hope that makes sense 😭😭
Heyy love. Thanks so much for watching. I wish you a prosperous loc journey. Also, I interlocked the entire length of my natural hair except a small piece at the end, then i interlocked the extensions on to the lower half of my natural loc. The first round of interlocking my natural hair I don’t do it as tightly towards the lower half where I’ll be adding the extensions. Then when I interlocked the hair on I go over and tighten the loc more. I hope that makes sense lol. Lmk if you get what I mean😭

The prices here in NY are super expensive too. It’s a lot of work and very time consuming so I understand why it’s so expensive but like you said I would not want to pay $2,000 for my hair. If you try this lmk how it goes!

Quick questions I got instant locs with 4c hair and the coarse hair feels really rough against my neck, does the 3c hair feel smoother with the loc extensions?
Yes, the hair I used feels soft and smooth on my neck. I think as time passes the extensions with the 4c will feel a bit smoother
4c hair isn’t rough also ….it’s all about what you use and giving them time to flourish
