I work at the Lindt Factory USA, but I can't tell RUclips how we make the Lindor balls. Good job at trying to reverse engineer it though - great determination. So glad you succeeded in a decent replica. A very enjoyable watch. BTW - We don't make jumbo truffles because they're meant to be enjoyed in 1-2 bites containing the perfect contrasting ratio of the crisp melting shell & smooth melting filling all within the same bite. Transport would also be a nightmare as you can probably guess by how heavy yours ended up being.
Is there a difference between an American and European Lindor? Since (at least in Belgium) the minimum cocoa % for chocolate is a lot higher compared to America.

It was a lot of fun watching the many different strategies along this little journey. It's a refreshing change from the sort of cooking videos that are just a 3 minute supercut of something they've done a hundred times before (though there is a place for those!). I do hope Boston wasn't too scared when you bashed the chocolate against the countertop, he looked a little bamboozled.

Barry, Please invest in a decent tripod! I would suggest something by Manfrotto which are strong and don't fall over very easily. Working in a camera shop I can't tell you the amount of camera repairs I sent away as a result of those flimsy plastic tripods.
They shouldn't be made if the job isn't properly done .surely the tripods could have a clip in case or something .What a pain in the ass those tripod stands are
