This is where the rubber meets the road.
where the rubber meets the mexicans
My grandpa used to own a Rubber company (Robinson Rubber) and when I was a kid I remember those massive Reels of rubber matting and belts.
they were fun rolling down the hill at the school president's house, weren't they?
Michael Connelly - one of my favourite authors too!
Gord,
Vancouver
Great video and that was a hell of a lot of rubber.
Another great video, it's neat when I see you drop loads near me, that is a huge mine and I've driven passed it many times.
I know. the security guard told me there's a suspicious pickup truck going back and forth daily in front of the gate, casing the place.
Always a good video. I just wondered what are the per mile costs to run such a newer and powerful truck. Keep up the good stories and stay safe. god bless you Sergei!!
OMG!! I seen you yesterday u pass me on the qew by the big Bridge before the USA I always wanna to see u r truck in person
Damn that's a lot of rubber!
Good on yah for sending a kid to camp, it makes a difference.
you mentioned once that the sharp metal edge of your steering wheel spoke was uncomfortable to grip. A quick fix would be
to cut a rubber or plastic hose down one side and slide it over the edge. Maybe some garden hose !! cheers from Down under.
Seems like a really big mining operation . . .
You should get a local library account and rent books on tape.

now the question is did ou get a next load ? i see you are selling our rig ,must be time for a up grade ?
what type of truck do you want to get?
Hi Cap'n Sergei, Just wondering about the electronic logging device (ELD) mandate that goes into effect Dec. 18 this year. Are you looking into the options, etc. ? Any thoughts?
No word from Dispatch about this yet. Don't know if we are getting them or not.
I'm certainly no expert, Sergei, but, from what I've read, you will definitely have to have an ELD. I don't think dispatch has said anything because it's really none of their business; it's your business since you own the truck and the truck must have an ELD to operate after Dec. 18, 2017. I very much doubt they will furnish an ELD, just like they don't furnish other tools you need to operate your truck. They surely cannot dispatch loads to a truck unless it conforms with current law. You might want to start a conversation with them so you are all on the same page, so to speak, regarding the issue. You have one big advantage over many O/O; that is you are very knowledgeable about and comfortable with electronics. That's a huge leg up. Still, it might be good to do your homework early.
Cap'n Sergei: Here is a link to a FleetOwner magazine article that sort of introduces the ELD idea. fleetowner.com/blog/elds-what-there-fear?clkthru=cab12caeb61468639a35dd43f006207a&spvc=42&NL=FO-01&Issue=FO-01_20170626_FO-01_447&sfvc4enews=42&cl=article_3_b&CPENT000004450908&elq2=4019c6154d684e3c8d5aae7ce03ce4f0
Here's one my link, Cap'n Sergei, on ELD's from FleetOwner.

Morning Sergei how did she running
Uncle Sergei are you selling the mack?
Sergei, one of my favorite authors on audio tapes is John Grisham, he has written a number of books that have made into movies. Do you know of him and do you have any of his audio tapes?
I read most of his books. My other favorite authors are Elmore Leonard and Lee Child.
Uncle Sergei, Approximately how much data does your tablet burn each month using it for navigation? Do you have any idea how many hours you use it each month?
I've often wondered the same. I don't think just using maps uses much data, but you have to make sure you have all applications that are set to automatically update and anything else on the tablet. Certainly a good use for an otherwise obsolete tablet or phone.
Download offline google Maps to tablet/mobile to avoid data usge
Maps is okay. The biggest drain on the data plan is MOVIES. You watch one feature film, and it can be 2-4 GB easy. Maps only don't amount to much, from what I've seen.
Sergei Dratchev how do you like using Google maps for navigation in a truck? I had trouble with it taking me places where a truck would not fit
Lay odds he`s never driven that Kawasaki before. Pete.
There were two operators. Operator 1 in Clip 1 had trouble with the forks. He went to look for wider forks, didn't find them but brought along the main operator (Operator 2). Operator 2 finished unloading in Clip 2. You see Operator 1 running past the truck towards the spot where they will drop the reel - to guide Operator 2.

Too bad ya could't deliver two of these rolls...more profit!
you cannot put two of them UNLESS the rig empty weight is 40,000 LB lighter than my current 45,800 LB. So, you 'd need a truck and trailer weighing 5,800 LB. that's not possible.
That book is on Amazon Prime TV, I watched the whole series. Its really good, it gets solved, but you won't like it.

its not heavy
Highway 407 is a ripoff!
