I've always wondered about the Strawberry candle. The retailer here claims it smells like the real fruit. I have heard wild strawberries has a jasmine facet.
It's pretty nice! Not very literal strawberry and thankfully not very sweet but I can see how it implies the idea of strawberry. Interesting note about the strawberry/jasmine connection!
I'm a composer and it's reference to a piece by John Cage I like. I thought it would be funny in the context of fragrance where there are a lot of cheap imitations, which I don't talk about, of course. 😂
Not a surprise they went back to pastel florals. Good not great. Also prefer it over Acne Studios (Sorry Fred lol) Stereotypically speaking, this might actually be more interesting on a guy cause I reckon it would just be perceived as makeup/product on a woman😄 Thanks for your thoughts
I just received my sample and am so far surprised by it in a good way. You mention Beige similarity, but that is for sure one Chanel I won’t buy. It smelled great on my supervisor but n me it smelled like wet brown paper towels with a little bit of soap (not quality soap). I actually like “soapy” in a scent. This was not good. I think my skin hates cashmirin. It turns to bland wet brown paper, or something similar. Luckily, Comete has no cashmarin.
This one is so pretty! I am soaring to new heights with Comete! The thought of it kind of scared me, but I am loving it and having fun on this ride to the cosmos!
😂 I'm not big on "think piece" videos and I don't really have any info to add that's not already out there. But I might do a video about some Frederic Malle scents and give some thoughts there.

I think there are two properties 1) maintaining what’s there with cust cutting reformulations and 2) new fragrances … I think 1) is tough but possible but 2) is impossible

very nice review! i like L’heure Promise, which makes me think Comete may be more interesting than i otherwise would’ve thought.
L'heure Promise is definitely greener and airier but I would put them in a similar genre. Let me know what you think when you get try it!

Yea totally agree! I love when there's some contrast in personal style, would be cool on a biker dude in a leather jacket!
