My local card shop months back had stacks and stacks of the old 1.0 MetaZoo for dirt cheap. I like the cut of this guy’s jib. I think he understands that for a TCG to survive, it has to be playable and good before it’s collectible. He also seems to understand that there needs to be room for mishaps and failure during this launch. It seems like he’s crossing his t’s and dotting his i’s with this IP. I’m excited for the launch and I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for it.
My one question for him would be, can he make metazoo more available and accessible in the UK? It was one of the reasons I struggled to collect and really fully go for metazoo. If you wanted it in the UK it was grossly overpriced because of import taxes and other things like that. So if it became a standard in the UK, I'd be able to actually collect it and possibly even play it 🤔

After the zoo went bankrupt I went back to playing Magic and collecting pokemon. This guy's passion has definitely piqued my interest. Looking forward to card reveals and play mechanics 🎉
This guy doesn't just get you excited about metazoo, but life. Never bought any metazoo. I watch here and there, but have been since you started to doing metazoo also found from your main channel. I had pokemon and yugioh when I was a kid. Wish I still had those cards. I had a ton of first edition pokemon and yugioh stuff they were doing an anniversary on the past couple of years. Crazy how time flies. We were just playing and now im in the rat race. I think I'll get some of these new packs. Give 'em a try👍

Those who held on to their cards: 🔷🙌 Also, Charlie if you're reading this... there was a problem with a lot of signature cards Like Babe the Blue Ox, Hodag, Big Foot, and others not really being playable in decks. They simply didn't make the cut in a lot of deck lists. Please do something to remedy that so that a lot of the characters are actually playable.

So, no one asked if the old cards are going to be compatible with the new ones? I don't even care if they won't be legal for organized play, I just want to know how different the new game is going to be.
@@BookmakerMakeswhy would they be compatible 😭 it’s essentially a complete reboot and complete reformation of the game mechanics so the game itself will probably be comepletely different from the original. (Which is a very good thing lol)
@BookmakerMakes topps chrome isn't playable, people still love it 🥰 plus the old cards can always be played in the original format, plenty cards there for gameplay in that style 😊
I hope he reworks how the game works so its not as gimmicky or at least relegate the "real world" effects to certain decks or boosters to make it more playable I know mot everyone loved the art style but i hope it doesn't go away entirely. However it'll be great to see more art styles.
enjoyed this. Would be awesome to learn if there was any plans to grant legacy NFT holders any kind of perks...obvi don't have to, but I would say most of us that bought into those (for the utility) are diehard zoo fans! would be great to have some kind of recognition.

From personal experience, Charlie is asking questions I ask myself when making my game. He seems to be in the early stages of everything. At least he has a team that can all spitball ideas. I'm not saying it's going to be bad or good. This call may have been made to early do to no confirmation of anything to the point where it's all theory and hope. I hope the release goes well and Charlie and the team can find a new way to make reducing someone's life points to zero.
