Haikus Megacompilation

These video haikus are super short films made of a first shot of 5 seconds, a second shot of 7 seconds and a final shot of 5 seconds with or without the poetry, but mostly without the poetry. These shorts were made during the Kino Kabaret events organised by Filmonik Melbourne and Kino Sydney at Bakehouse Studios, Siteworks and Sunstudios with as many as 40 participants.
Many thanks to Justin and Filmfights.com for having started the madness of the videos haikus back in 2004. Fast forward to 2017 and our Kino Kabaret events unite film artisans in the same spot for 48-72 hours collaboratively making short films. While the other Kino groups have Quickies, the format of the video haiku was perfect for us to keep actors and crew busy between bigger shoots.
