Being a woman is the greatest feeling in the world, I feel strong and I want other women to feel the same. Work hard don’t let others push you down and never let a man make you feel like you don’t belong in this world. Be leaders, be great make a change. I did the follwoing step below to get to the top:

Y’all need to know this. A well-known podcast ROCHELLE DUNGCA-SCHREIBER in the US taught me how the rich don’t teach how to achieve success. They seek the ideas of Fin. Consultants to help grow their finance!

Michelle, I had the pleasure of being taught by you around 1997 at Sheffield Hallam Uni on a Psychology degree. I found this video while looking you up after you introduced me to the concept of disability often existing outside of the individual, outwith a 'disabling society', and that provisions and design would make the disability less visible, even non-existent. I'm so grateful for this and I'm writing a course for people to understand autism. I just wanted to add my support here. You want a discussion. That's what research and society does. We explore all options, including people with opposing views. There are no no-go areas especially when the stakes are high. Whether people agree or disagree, the silencing treatment has been foul and based on crude dichotomies of 'Are you With us/Against us'. I know your ethics, values, and spirit. :)

Thank you Professor Moore. You’re talk is so correct. My daughter suddenly came out as trans and thanks to trans activists they were able to give her a step by step guide almost of how to act and what to say to be able to become an “informed minor” and get social security payments and state housing to move out and continue her change to a “male” without hinderance from us. I’ve met other parents in my position and they’ve had similar stories. They worry about teens becoming suicidal but what about the wreckage they leave behind? The leave so many broken people in the wake of their coming out. Please continue to speak out. We desperately need more like you!

I was an out and out tomboy. I hated my female body. I wouldn't wear tights or skirts. I was like this in he 70's. Today I might well have transitioned. I'm now 30+years married to a lovely guy who likes my strength and isn't in the least bit bothered I hate dresses and skirts and have 2 grown up kids. I still don't feel girly in the least but I would hate to be in a quasi male body. Or some half way house, male on top and female down below.

Heartfelt thank you, from a Mum who knows the shocking damage Camhs/the Tavistock cause with their reckless affirmation only approach to a vulnerable acutely mentally unwell adolescent on the autistic spectrum, other comorbid debilitating mental health issues were ignored but the gender issue was 100% embraced, and celebrated from the outset. Such a well articulate speaker, thank you so much for all your efforts and hard work I stand with you in the deeply concerning situation that young girls are faced with today, especially on the social contagion of online rhetoric and bullying regarding who and what girls are if they refuse to be apart of the 'trans' agenda.
Young girls are ostracized and made scapegoats if they believe that nobody is born in the wrong body and that clearly they see another young girl in front of them and not a boy, that they are being gaslighted , shunned and abused because they refuse to go along with the lies.
This is the other side of those also being caught up with trying to be "cool" and "special" crowd that happens in early teenage years because they are after attention and power and leverage over a perceived weaker girl, because she will not be bullied , they will be targeted , by gangs of bullies , and this is what happens on line especially when they have the "trans train" hurtling at them and threatening them .

Note to all. In the UK, we have to preserve freedom of speech. We have to preserve the responsibility authority of parents - if school makes a decision on a child's gender without any reference to their parents, then that is a terrifying repeat of 1930s Central Europe fascism. We have to keep the state out of our personal lives, because it has no idea. In the end, the issue is bigger than transgender - it's about the nature of our entire society and who is dictating to us what it is.

Well said. I am a post operative Trans Identified Male - and not only have I been through the entire system, but I have met a large number of those who are politically motivated Transgender advocates and either work for/with such organisations as Gendered Intelligence and Stonewall. I can confirm that these people have absolutely no interest in the well-being of those that are either medically diagnosed as Transsexual (like myself), nor those that self identify and fail to conform to the postmodern Neomarxist dogma that now appears to be the primary motivator in pushing this noxious ideology into the mainstream and having it enshrined as a fresh new anti-science pseudo-religion - one that is backed up by the medical fraternity, educationalists, the police, judiciary and government itself.
I am sure that everyone here is familiar with the grossly offensive - and sometimes actually violent way that 'Trans Activists' behave not only online but in real life too - I myself had Human faeces stuffed through my letterbox for failure to conform to Dogma; I am a Heretic.
In speaking out against Self ID, I have been banned from Twitter twice, had multiple 30 day sanctions on Facebook for so-called 'hate speech', and have generally had my life made a misery by these people... it is they that have made me deeply regret my decision - and having stopped taking the hormones about 20 months ago as a personal social experiment, I am not sure if I was in the right state of mind to even MAKE such a life altering decision after 7 years of 8mg of Oestrogen a day. Since ceasing this 'treatment', I have pretty much returned to 'normal', though - of course, my body is now mutilated and I can barely stand to look at myself in great detail - one might, I suppose, describe it as a form of PTSD.
I have had precious little help from the NHS, who - I feel , have simply put my to the bottom of the pile as some kind of failed experiment.
I want to applaud all those involved with A Woman's Place UK for standing up for rationality, Enlightenment Values and Objective Reality - believe me when I say that the people driving this ideology are downright nefarious characters and transgenderism is merely the poison on the postmodernist arrow being shot into the body politic by Hard Left Globalist Elites with the express intention of undermining the values of Western Society. Please don't think me a raving conspiracy theorist here - everyone that might read this KNOWS that billions are being spent and millions are being made - one look at the likes of Paris Lees and Munroe Bergdorf should be proof positive of that.
I urge you all to keep going - whilst this is too far gone to be nipped in the bud - the branch is infected and needs to be removed, lest the entire tree die.
The fall out from this in years to come has an enormity all it's own - not only in the mutilated bodies, broken lives and destroyed families - but on a societal level itself.
To swear into Law - the statute books and into the very fabric of government itself, a rejection of Objective Reality in favour of subjective feelings, (feelings that can be manipulated so easily - especially amongst the young), is not only wrong at the fundamental level, but tantamount to lunacy.
Finally, on a personal note - I would love to speak to someone, anyone - about my experiences... I know I am in need of psychological help and plagued with suicidal ideation - but have no one to fill that role. I no longer trust Doctors - and seeing the odious Dr. Adrian Harrop's online antics - trust them even less now.
If anyone out there IS interested in talking to me about what happened - I would be sincerely grateful for the intervention.

It's worth wondering why, if all this is clearly contrary to the opinions of the majority, these policies and practices have so quickly and so completely been taken up by administration in schools, universities, and workplaces. It is because school boards, university departments, and politicians have abrogated responsibility for decisions, and have delegated decision-making to activists and special interest groups. Instead of shaping policy with the benefits of all in mind, policy is determined on the basis of what is best for the special interest group. So we end up with policies that are not in the interests of the common good.

I wasn't aware of that particular statistic, and immediately thought bullsh*t but i verified it.
10 studies, the most recent done in 2013, have concluded that 80 out of 100 trans identifying trans children accept their biological gender when reaching adulthood. That is not the discourse that is being had, and speaks to the volatility of young developing minds, as well as the lack of care for being well informed discussion about these topics. How much does the trans ideology have to do with post-modern views on science and knowledge? So much of what I read has this transhumanism or posthumanism perspective. I just wonder how this became so mainstream?

I'm a CIS male and I'm genuinely just interested in this "counter argument" to trans rights. Firstly, Moore starts by saying she's done great research and wrote a book on this topic, then later cites such reliable sources as, "a friend at a school nearby" .. .I'm sorry, but if you've wrote a book and have reliable evidence to back up your claims: USE IT!! Cite it! Impress us with your facts and figures. So then she claims: 80% of transgender people "Change their mind"? Again... Evidence of this? ... "People on Tumblr tell children they must move ahead with their gender identity or they'll face feelings of suicide.... Young people don't have a choice once they self-identify. Surgery scars can become infected...." In her story about the parents whose child was moved to foster care: Is the point here, not that the parents wouldn't accept their child's identity and thus the child could not live safely in that home? If parents don't want to accept a child's gender identity, that's one thing but in order to keep your child, surely you have to try and work through that, using acceptance and love. Or maybe they just didn't love their child enough? Many gay people have experienced rejection by their families from their homes, it's not a new story. Who's to blame in those situations? The gay people? YEP... Moore is scaremongering. She's a person who distrusts trans people. I was willing to consider the idea that children self-identify as another gender, because of social influence and that if we take this away then there would be no trans children, but we don't live in a hypothetical vacuum, we live in a world where trans people exist. A world where trans hate exists too. What is better for children? To feel hated and excluded, or accepted and loved? Moore says that children aren't given time to work through and consider their gender identity, and are coerced into taking medication. She's trying to paint trans people as enemies of children and dangerous to children, ultimately, but she lacks any real argument outside of being reactionary and playing on people's fears, there's no substance to her argument: Who are these scary people coercing children into taking medicine and going for surgery? Can anyone point me towards a video (or two) where someone makes an actual FACT based argument against trans rights, rather than this nonsense?

Here you go. Tavistock data has it at 90% desistance for children who don't go on puberty blockers, but other studies have it as not quite that high which is probably why Dr. Moore says 80%: wpath2016.conferencespot.org/62620-wpathv2-1.3138789/t001-1.3140111/f009a-1.3140266/0706-000523-1.3140268

And the appendix in James Cantor's article here lists all peer-reviewed research as of 2018 on desistance with its outcomes. @@lizs6425 Have you actually understood what is being said in these links that you have provided? They don't answer all the questions being made by the original poster.
      1) The sample size is small at 44 children.
      2) 'approximately 2% to 27% of younger children with Gender Dysphoria were likely to persist with their cross-gender identification following puberty' - I thought this was a study, there shouldn't be such a wide variable between 2% to 27%. A proper study would be able to tell you exactly how many of the 44 children in the sample size persisted after puberty. This devalues everything that follows in the study.
      3) What variables have been considered as to why a child with gender dysphoria would decide not to follow through after reaching the age of 18? Have they been pressured by parents? Have they been bullied at school? Has any qualitative study been performed to find out why these children decided not to pursue transition? Has any longevity study been conducted to see if these children decided to transition later in life or if they had any gender identity problems later in life? What are the attempted suicide statistics of these children? As someone who has suffered gender dysphoria all my life, and as someone who has spoken to over 400 people with gender dysphoria, some who have transition, some who have not. I can tell you that dysphoria does not go away. There are medical studies with sample sizes in the hundreds covering almost 1,000 people in 4 different countries and 5 different studies demonstrating that true gender dysphoria does not go away. It is hardwired into us. Think of it like the sea, it is always there lapping at the shore and now and again the tide comes in and the dysphoria worsens, and then the tide goes out and the dysphoria falls into the background until the next tide but it is ALWAYS there in the background. Eventually you get hit by a tsunami.
      4) '50% of the cases were persisting in their wish to live in their non-assigned gender post-pubertally (at age 16) and were actively expressing the wish to progress with physical treatments.' OK so now we have a real figure based on the sample size. 50% is a lot less than the 80% quoted or the higher figure that you are suggesting. Again, no follow up study as to why those who chose not to progress dropped out of the program.
      5) 'no patient within the sample desisted after having started on the hypothalamic blocker. 90.3% of young people who did not commence the blocker desisted.' - All this demonstrates is that all those who were confident enough in their identity to take blockers progressed and only 10% of those who were not confident to start blockers continued with the program. Again no follow up study on those who desisted. It doesn't really prove anything. Certainly not what you think it says.

@@lizs6425 'The only specific claim was that studies (whether early or late) had limited follow-up periods' - That is literally the only thing you can conclude from that paper. Again, is there any follow up of people in their 40s, in their 50s, even in their 60s. What other variables have been considered? Have they looked at the age of these studies and the social context in which they occur? I spent all my life hiding that I had gender dysphoria, I spent all my life trying to be manly, and I vigorously defended my secret against any suggestion that I might be a 'sissy' (my father's term). I defended my secret against prying consultants, doctors, family, friends, strangers... I would've fought someone before revealing my secret. So how accurate can these studies truly be? They need a lot more work and the social context in which they occur is vital. I would've got a beating if I had told a doctor as a child that I was a girl. My father would've punched the hell out of me afterwards. You think I would've told the doctor the truth about how I felt? No chance.

  • @Alice-rm7my
    @Alice-rm7my 5 лет назад +1

Here is a simple question... at what age did you know if you were a girl or a boy? Did you have to wait until you were 18 before knowing?
The simple truth is that almost all children know if they are a boy or girl before they start school. Just like most transchildren know that there is something wrong with their identity before they start school. I knew there was something wrong when I was 2 years old in playgroup.
The fact that you don't suffer from gender dysphoria means you have absolutely no idea what it feels like.
Let me fill you in a bit because this video is spouting rubbish and how Michelle Moore can be considered a professor of Inclusive Education and Disability Studies is beyond me.
    1) no children under the age of 18 are prescribed hormones other than blockers. Some might seek them on the black market but nobody is given them before the age of 18. They are given puberty blockers that merely delays puberty until the age of 18 when they can then make a decision. At any time while taking the blockers, they can change their mind and come off them, thus going through puberty as normal. To say that they are prescribed gender changing hormones is a lie.
    2) I have no idea if I told my parents that I was a girl when I was 2 years old or not. What I do know is that I was repeatedly told that I was a boy and not a sissy. That only sissies read fiction books, that only sissies play with dolls, that only sissies play dress up or wear make up. I was encouraged to get into fights to 'toughen me up'. My father used to instigate fights with my friends and push me into them. I was told that only sissies cry. I was told by my grandmother than she only loves boys and hates girls (much to the upset of my sister). When a babysitter played dress up with me, she was never hired again and my father went nuts about it. If I did anything feminine I got my backside tanned. I was made to go hunting with my father (my sister was never allowed to come), I was made to help with the killing of the animals on the farm (my sister was never allowed to come), I was encouraged to do masculine things. At no point in my childhood was I nurtured to be transgender.
    3) because of my upbringing I tried my best to suppress it. I tried my best to be masculine. Later in life I took up weightlifting, martial arts, grew a beard... I did everything that I could to be a man and it made me more and more and more depressed. I never once stopped wishing to be female.
    4) I tried to cut off my genitals several times between the ages of 13 and 17 but could never force myself to do it. I would stand for hours with my genitals on the chopping board with a large knife trying to force the knife down but each time the first nick in the skin stopped me. I tried to take my own life when I was 18 years old because I could not make the dysphoria stop. I hoped that I would be reborn female... either in reincarnation or in heaven. I looked for answers in religion. I prayed every evening before bed, every morning and every spare moment of the day to wake up with the correct body. And when that didn't work, I sought to make a pact with the devil for the same. When that didn't work, I looked at other religions. I went through them all before concluding that it was just a bunch of fairytales.
    5) I would do anything to make my dysphoria go away. I did not choose to be transgender, I was born this way. Nobody chooses to be transgender. Just look at the lack of acceptance in the comments. Just look at the exclusionary and dismissive speech you have posted in this video. We are second class citizens hated by society because of videos like this one.
    6) I knew I wasn't supposed to be a boy from a very early age and my childhood was pure hell because of it. I was constantly bullied at school not only by the children but by the teachers too. I spent the bulk of my childhood isolated. I had friends now and again but the bullies would target them for being my friend and those friendships rarely stayed for long. Some people tried to be my friend in secret outside of school but at school the same 'friends' joined my tormentors. This was all while trying to hide my true self, trying my best to be one of the boys. If I came out as transgender then I would've been crucified. There was a transwoman in my village who was called names, had stones thrown at her, had her windows smashed all by the children at my school. I was attacked because I refused to join in. My life was miserable. When I became older and left school, I found myself drinking heavily and doing dangerous things because I just wanted to die. Since then, I've found a group that has helped me, I am finally starting to come out and be myself because of the peer support. Without it I would continue to hide and suffer. I have also found that there are members of the group who went to the same school as me at the same time as me. This idea that it is peer pressure to come out as trans is nonsense. The reason they tend to come out in clusters is because it takes a lot of courage to come out at all because of all the hate and misinformation spread about us (like this video). Coming out on your own in such a hostile environment is near on impossible for most adults let alone children.
    7) Anti-racism 'ideology', Christianity 'ideology', British values 'ideology'... have all had more access to British schools than transgender awareness teaching.
    8) Nobody thinks that a girl who likes to play football is transgender. Nobody forces a child to identify as transgender. That is false argument that cannot be supported with facts. 'I think...' without supported evidence is nothing more than opinion. You complain about teachers pushing children to identify as transgender while claiming that they are taking away the choice of self-identification, but isn't this entire speech about denying transgender people the right to self-identify? Isn't it you who are trying to take away that freedom? Can you provide any real evidence of teachers forcing children to be transgender? Or are you just going to cling to the excuses made by parents who refuse to accept their child is transgender? Trying to beat the trans out of a child doesn't work... I and many people I know can vouch for that.
    9) There is a LOT of evidence demonstrating that transgender people who suffer from gender dysphoria and undergo surgery are happier after the surgery. The number of cases where this is not true are minimal in comparison and usually because there was another underlying cause for that person's decision, complications in the surgery, and/or social abuse and lack of acceptance by wider society (particularly dating). See: Ainsworth and Speigel (2010), Bailey, Ellis & McNeil (2014), Bouman et al (2016), Boza and Nicholson (2014), Heylens et al. (2014).... and on and on.
    10) Not all transgender people suffer from gender dysphoria but for those that do, it is very much a biological physical cause that has now been proven with a sample size of about 1,000 transgender people both male and female, in 4 different countries and 5 different medical labs, demonstrating that dysphoria is caused by small differences in the brain that more closely mirror the gender that a person identifies with. This is now scientifically proven until someone can produce a study of similar sample size and confirmed in multiple medical labs that disproves it. This isn't opinion anymore. People with dysphoria are born transgender. It isn't a choice, it is physical differences in their brain. SO their exclusion because they have been born differently is similar to people who are born with more visible disabilities. The fact that they want to undergo surgery to make them feel better about themselves is no different either. If you have a surgical cure that can help someone who was born incapable of walking, walk then I bet they would want the surgery. If you could make a blind child see again through surgery, then they will want the surgery. It is absolutely nonsense to suggest otherwise.
    11) AGAIN... nobody is giving children hormones. There are no 'girls' taking puberty blockers who have full masculine beards.
Finally, as for being silenced... There are people talking out against trans people all the time in the press... this video isn't exactly being silenced is it? A person with similar beliefs to the speaker was recently invited to a debate at the Scottish Parliament, there was NO trans representative to provide a counter argument to what was being said. At this talk in the video were there any transgender speakers to dispute what Moore was saying? So who is it that is being silenced here? It is certainly not Moore, she has a book published and she is giving a talk in Newcastle tonight. Nobody is silencing her... but there are no transgender representatives providing a counter argument... this is a 'debate' of one because ultimately what is being 'debated' here is the refusal to acknowledge that transgender children exist. There is no debate because you deny our existence. It is transgender people who are being silenced. We are being told that our opinion does not count because we are delusional. You refuse to believe that we suffer from gender dysphoria. Despite the overwhelming scientific evidence, you refuse to believe that this is anything other than choice. You think that transmen are merely delusional butch lesbians... and you call that inclusive?

I'm very sorry to see how you were treated, abused by your father. This is a very common factor in the childhood stories of transwomen. Gender was used as a tool to abuse you and make you feel there was something wrong with you. Parts of you were not accepted or even allowed & you were made to feel they were only permissible in women. Gender is a harmful concept, it harmed your father & he used it to harm you in turn.

Gender is not assigned. Sex is a biological reality (facts) determined by the body parts you possess. Gender is a social construct based on stereotypes that limit the ability of people to express themselves in a binary way. Transgenderism reinforces these stereotypes.
