The Liberal Sanity Project Lol. I have to wonder when was the last time soldiers were quartered in a civilian's home, as opposed to the last time someone used a gun in self defense.
The Liberal Sanity Project I agree we shouldn't need it, but by that logic we don't need the Bill of Rights at all, if there's no danger of any right being infringed. However, some founding fathers insisted we did need these protections.
I wonder how the patriots who overthrew British tyranny, and went on to breath life into a nation based upon ideals of freedom would have responded to witnessing an illegal, orchestrated strategy to spy upon, and otherwise subvert a democratic presidential election? Surely by arguing that civilians should be less armed than the forces at the command of a political movement which has demonstrated both the ability and willingness to commit treason against the rule of law? A laughable argument, to be sure, but such are the arguments of left. 'You cannot trust the police to do the right thing', 'but we should disarm civilians'. 'Trump is literally Hitler', 'but civilians have no need for military style weapons'. Stupid people- hard to take seriously.
Sorry to see the damage to your car. I hope you are alright, and no one else was hurt. Gun debate... Well, this is the problem with trying to engage topics that are driven by feels over reason. Emotionally driven arguments rarely give way to rational, reason based debate. The only way you can win such debates is to first defuse the emotions at play, and sometimes that simply cannot be done. And certainly not with mass hysteria, particularly when it is being whipped up to a fervour by media and political parasites. Mass hysteria does give opportunity for inspired trolling, though. Hysteria sets aside reason, is blinded to black humour and satire, and takes the bait hook, line and sinker. Quite satisfying, if you have never tried it, and certainly more enjoyable than trying to reason with morons. Coming back to your video, I find it astounding that these 'feel' types use the argument 'don't you care about the children' when these are the same people who are all for murdering babies. Such hypocrisy. Maybe that's the solution to this entire gun debate- stop calling assault weapons assault weapons, and newspeak them as 'post birth abortion systems'. Lol, given the lefts penchant for abortion, imagine the soaring murder rates... 'I didn't kill her, I ABORTED her'. Am sure Trump knows best... throwing the left a bone by banning bump stocks, or whatever they are called, shows him to be a responsive president, one who listens to both sides of politics. He understands the nature of hysteria. Thanks for the work you put in on your vids- enjoyed as always.
Janus Bifrons Yeah, I just rubbed a fire hydrant. It is, indeed, very difficult to have a rational discussion with people who are terribly misinformed, or who resort to insults and hysteria. You mentioned the dichotomy of protecting children from guns while advocating abortion. As an example of cognitive dissonance, I like those who claim the 2nd Amendment can't apply to modern weapons, while ignoring every other modern advancement.
Is the 2nd Amendment still relevant with our modern firearms technology?
