Kardashev album is excellent. What’s with the aversion to clean vocals and multiple sub genres, end product is great. It’s possible to enjoy extreme straight up dm and bm bands as well as bands with cleans or atmospheric components.

What’s the bias towards longer records in recent times? I understand an album that’s full of filler but that’s a different issue all together. 45 minutes is not even APPROACHING a long collection of tunes. I see a release thats around the 36 minute mark and I feel it’s closer to an EP.
The most ironic thing is that Blayne is a death-doom and funeral doom degenerate, so him squirming and squealing at a 45 minute record is laughably pathetic.

I personally think that all these records slap to varying degrees. Everyone has a preference. Blayne's entitled to his opinion and is being fairly objective here. Half of the things he says are wrapped in sarcasm anyway. Stop taking yourselves so seriously. It's only entertainment.
