what utter rubbish,Anne would not have a great Queen, she's too outspoken and she has not earned anything she has, our late Queen bought Gatcombe Park as a wedding present for Anne and Mark and Anne has to run it as a business, it has to pay for its keep or she could not afford to keep it and Saint James Palace is owned by the nation
@@karenchandler2921 she said it years ago, she knows her life is much more relaxed, she can say more, her childrens lives have been a bit more normal, they can step out of the spotlight too
These mansions are so beautiful and carry so much history. I'm glad they keep them up and don't let them deteriorate. They are a blessing to the British people.
@@Rosiedelaroux Lmao, all those workers are given a job, mate. What's the unemployment rate in those parts of the world, again? And the Royals are important. Their ancestors have also done quite a bit... some more than others, of course
Princess Anne’s Gatcome Park seems to suit her: elegant, earthy, and horse friendly., That it was a gift from her mother HLMTQ makes it especially bittersweet.
Very beautiful video. Without THEM it would not have existed at all, and would not survive as a really existing royal splendour for one second. Long live the King
The princess royal works her but of. The tourism around the family is mind blowing. The support she and others in the family provide to the multiple charities is outstanding.
Even Epstiein prince Andrew still draw funds living off the British people in Windsor royal lodge. Nor a council flat in York. Which he is Duke of.Not to Yorkshire people s liking either.
Gatcombe Park and Sandringham are my favorites. It's nice to have a visual reference whenever these residences are mentioned. Princess Anne's grandson Lucas, the son of Zara and Mike Tindall, was born at Gatcombe Park in 2021 when his arrival came quite suddenly with no time for a trip to the hospital.
Gatacombe Park house is my favorite. I don't understand why I am so invested in everything British. I am sitting in my room in America just ooing and aaing everything that the Princess Royal has.
Hello from Florida! I stumbled upon your video of "old money" mansions. Even tho I prefer modern homes, I enjoyed seeing these mansions and learning about them. Sandringham is my favorite because it has cows! It was such a bucolic site to see from your drone footage. Soft and green and natural and safe. What a wonderful place for the Royals to have their August breaks. How reinvigorating it must be to have family gatherings there.
Im sorry i can't pick a favourite as i like them all . Princess Ann is a hard worker for her numerous Charities plus her work for the royal family . Thank you for showing these stunning houses . Maybe next time show Balmoral the place in Edinburgh sorry cant remember the name also the Queen Mother's place in Scotland Gathnes
They're all exquisite, but I'm curious to know more about Princess Anne's casual country decor at Gatcombe. The backgrounds in the interiors did indeed look rather homey.
The snarky comment "not a penny of it earned" was really not called for. This woman has spent her entire life working for her country. Then think of all the people she employs. A little jealously is showing.
O surely they do. They spend so much on keeping these places intact and modern. I'm presently without a fireplace for the first time and I don't like it one bit !!! 😅 also for the first time without a dog. Very bad 😢😢❤ 😅
Princess Anne is old money. She has a 1000 year history of true old money. To say it is not earned is bollocks. This woman is an Olympian. That is hardworking. Then she spent the rest of her life dedicated to the welfare of her country men.
They're nice but, they don't standup to The French Chateaux of The Loire Valley, but then they are English which explains why they tend to be square and kind of stodgy.
Clarence House has been The King's residence since The Queen Mother died. Sandringham house is privately owned by the family which by proxy means The Monarch. Neither of these residences belong to Anne.
It's easy to converse with old money bc they tend to value the simple things in life like nature walks & discussing history for example. Also, old money never buys designer clothing with large logos but they'll buy a basic designer sweater so it lasts a long time. I've noticed that old money doesn't like new money either. They'd rather do something positive for less fortunate communities than buy new yachts, etc. Most of their stuff like properties & art are passed down through the generations so family is very important to them. That's why there was such a fuss about Mehgan Markle not having any family at her wedding.
#1. The more I read of Princess Ann I love her style, fantastic yet reasonable cozy huge palace! She is beautiful yet sincere and very valuable hard worker. I wish That Princess Ann would also try to influence William and Harry to bond again and work together for one goal. I am sorry that Harry loves His Children and their Mother. I wish he could lead her to happiness. But she wants her way and only her way. And her say in all things may be only her view. Not good for Harry or palace. He may wish to serve his family and their people.
It's was her wedding gift from her mum, late QE2. She has been there till today. I like Princess Royale. Never heard of her in financial losses like The Harkles. Know your spouse. Know "Her" numbers b4 marrying. Don't pay for the hidden credit cards. Look right through your spouse & check with the banks to make sure spouse is not a liability. Run run as fast as you can if he owes the bread man for a loaf of bread.
This is quite misleading. The princess Royal has only one property, Gat’ Pk,where she still resides since being gifted it as a wedding gift by the late Queen. Saint James,Kensington and Buckingham Palaces,Sandringham and Balmoral are either part of the Monarchs properties, are part of the crowns properties, which in theory are owned by the. State (country). Clarence House was the late queen mother’s home and passed to King Charles, where he still resides.
I really like Gatcombe Park but I think it would look better if the arched part off the side wasn't there. That way it would look symmetrical and more 'old'. That part of the house looks like a modern attachment added without much thought given to the overall aesthetics of the place. They should have put it to the back of the house, unless there was a specific reason it had to be placed there.
St James’ Palace and Clarence House are owned by the state, and Sandringham is owned by the reigning monarch. Gatcombe Park is the only estate owned by Princess Anne.
@@joycebirrell2866 - it was built for King William IV .. from memory, it was built before he became King though. The Queen Mother moved in there with Margaret when Queen Elizabeth II ascended to the throne.
The queen Mother did NOT own Clarence House. She moved into lt after the death of her husband. It was previously lived in by the Duke of Clarence (!after King William IV), Queen Alexandra, Queen Mary and Princess Elizabeth after her marriage to prince Philip.
