The princess royal works her but of. The tourism around the family is mind blowing. The support she and others in the family provide to the multiple charities is outstanding.
These mansions are so beautiful and carry so much history. I'm glad they keep them up and don't let them deteriorate. They are a blessing to the British people.
what utter rubbish,Anne would not have a great Queen, she's too outspoken and she has not earned anything she has, our late Queen bought Gatcombe Park as a wedding present for Anne and Mark and Anne has to run it as a business, it has to pay for its keep or she could not afford to keep it and Saint James Palace is owned by the nation
@@karenchandler2921 she said it years ago, she knows her life is much more relaxed, she can say more, her childrens lives have been a bit more normal, they can step out of the spotlight too
Gatcombe Park and Sandringham are my favorites. It's nice to have a visual reference whenever these residences are mentioned. Princess Anne's grandson Lucas, the son of Zara and Mike Tindall, was born at Gatcombe Park in 2021 when his arrival came quite suddenly with no time for a trip to the hospital.
Princess Anne’s Gatcome Park seems to suit her: elegant, earthy, and horse friendly., That it was a gift from her mother HLMTQ makes it especially bittersweet.
Even Epstiein prince Andrew still draw funds living off the British people in Windsor royal lodge. Nor a council flat in York. Which he is Duke of.Not to Yorkshire people s liking either.
Gatacombe Park house is my favorite. I don't understand why I am so invested in everything British. I am sitting in my room in America just ooing and aaing everything that the Princess Royal has.
They're all exquisite, but I'm curious to know more about Princess Anne's casual country decor at Gatcombe. The backgrounds in the interiors did indeed look rather homey.
Very beautiful video. Without THEM it would not have existed at all, and would not survive as a really existing royal splendour for one second. Long live the King
Im sorry i can't pick a favourite as i like them all . Princess Ann is a hard worker for her numerous Charities plus her work for the royal family . Thank you for showing these stunning houses . Maybe next time show Balmoral the place in Edinburgh sorry cant remember the name also the Queen Mother's place in Scotland Gathnes
Hello from Florida! I stumbled upon your video of "old money" mansions. Even tho I prefer modern homes, I enjoyed seeing these mansions and learning about them. Sandringham is my favorite because it has cows! It was such a bucolic site to see from your drone footage. Soft and green and natural and safe. What a wonderful place for the Royals to have their August breaks. How reinvigorating it must be to have family gatherings there.
The snarky comment "not a penny of it earned" was really not called for. This woman has spent her entire life working for her country. Then think of all the people she employs. A little jealously is showing.
Princess Anne is old money. She has a 1000 year history of true old money. To say it is not earned is bollocks. This woman is an Olympian. That is hardworking. Then she spent the rest of her life dedicated to the welfare of her country men.
It's easy to converse with old money bc they tend to value the simple things in life like nature walks & discussing history for example. Also, old money never buys designer clothing with large logos but they'll buy a basic designer sweater so it lasts a long time. I've noticed that old money doesn't like new money either. They'd rather do something positive for less fortunate communities than buy new yachts, etc. Most of their stuff like properties & art are passed down through the generations so family is very important to them. That's why there was such a fuss about Mehgan Markle not having any family at her wedding.
Clarence House has been The King's residence since The Queen Mother died. Sandringham house is privately owned by the family which by proxy means The Monarch. Neither of these residences belong to Anne.
They're nice but, they don't standup to The French Chateaux of The Loire Valley, but then they are English which explains why they tend to be square and kind of stodgy.
I really like Gatcombe Park but I think it would look better if the arched part off the side wasn't there. That way it would look symmetrical and more 'old'. That part of the house looks like a modern attachment added without much thought given to the overall aesthetics of the place. They should have put it to the back of the house, unless there was a specific reason it had to be placed there.
St James’ Palace and Clarence House are owned by the state, and Sandringham is owned by the reigning monarch. Gatcombe Park is the only estate owned by Princess Anne.

The queen Mother did NOT own Clarence House. She moved into lt after the death of her husband. It was previously lived in by the Duke of Clarence (!after King William IV), Queen Alexandra, Queen Mary and Princess Elizabeth after her marriage to prince Philip.
COMMENTS: Which of these stately residences is your favorite?
She started the whole Gloucestershire thing
@catherinenewman6516 I am pretty sure Gloucester was there prior to HRH Princess Royal.
Gatscombe Park is, I think, my favorite.
@@carolinemcgovern8059 No, that's not what the other Catherine meant. She meant she POPULARISED Gloucester amongst the royals.

👍🏿. People with cash who donate. NOT to make themselves look good, but cause they care.
our royal family do not provide support to charities, they highlight charities so members of the public donate

Yes. A great memorial to all the servants kept in slavery running them. And dying of hard work. While those upstairs did bugger all

She's amazing. She even came to our late president's funeral in Namibia.
She only has one Gatcombe Park.
