Gatacombe Park house is my favorite. I don't understand why I am so invested in everything British. I am sitting in my room in America just ooing and aaing everything that the Princess Royal has.
These mansions are so beautiful and carry so much history. I'm glad they keep them up and don't let them deteriorate. They are a blessing to the British people.
@@Rosiedelaroux Lmao, all those workers are given a job, mate. What's the unemployment rate in those parts of the world, again? And the Royals are important. Their ancestors have also done quite a bit... some more than others, of course
Even Epstiein prince Andrew still draw funds living off the British people in Windsor royal lodge. Nor a council flat in York. Which he is Duke of.Not to Yorkshire people s liking either.
Gatcombe Park and Sandringham are my favorites. It's nice to have a visual reference whenever these residences are mentioned. Princess Anne's grandson Lucas, the son of Zara and Mike Tindall, was born at Gatcombe Park in 2021 when his arrival came quite suddenly with no time for a trip to the hospital.
what utter rubbish,Anne would not have a great Queen, she's too outspoken and she has not earned anything she has, our late Queen bought Gatcombe Park as a wedding present for Anne and Mark and Anne has to run it as a business, it has to pay for its keep or she could not afford to keep it and Saint James Palace is owned by the nation
@@karenchandler2921 she said it years ago, she knows her life is much more relaxed, she can say more, her childrens lives have been a bit more normal, they can step out of the spotlight too
Oh good grief! NOBODY deserves that many mansions! When their are many in their country are homeless, and many children go hungary! And if you think God thinks this is allowable, than you need help. For generations they have taxed their people to maintain there mansions, servants, jewels, etc. Why? Did God crown someone King and Queen many centuries ago? No! It was man
Princess Anne’s Gatcome Park seems to suit her: elegant, earthy, and horse friendly., That it was a gift from her mother HLMTQ makes it especially bittersweet.
The princess royal works her but of. The tourism around the family is mind blowing. The support she and others in the family provide to the multiple charities is outstanding.
Hello from Florida! I stumbled upon your video of "old money" mansions. Even tho I prefer modern homes, I enjoyed seeing these mansions and learning about them. Sandringham is my favorite because it has cows! It was such a bucolic site to see from your drone footage. Soft and green and natural and safe. What a wonderful place for the Royals to have their August breaks. How reinvigorating it must be to have family gatherings there.
Very beautiful video. Without THEM it would not have existed at all, and would not survive as a really existing royal splendour for one second. Long live the King
They're all exquisite, but I'm curious to know more about Princess Anne's casual country decor at Gatcombe. The backgrounds in the interiors did indeed look rather homey.
Im sorry i can't pick a favourite as i like them all . Princess Ann is a hard worker for her numerous Charities plus her work for the royal family . Thank you for showing these stunning houses . Maybe next time show Balmoral the place in Edinburgh sorry cant remember the name also the Queen Mother's place in Scotland Gathnes
Would love to see more of Sandringham. The grounds are exquisite! The interior looks impeccably maintained. Gatecomb would come in 2nd of ones I’d like to see you go more in-depth on. Interesting video, thank you.
O surely they do. They spend so much on keeping these places intact and modern. I'm presently without a fireplace for the first time and I don't like it one bit !!! 😅 also for the first time without a dog. Very bad 😢😢❤ 😅
Princess Anne is old money. She has a 1000 year history of true old money. To say it is not earned is bollocks. This woman is an Olympian. That is hardworking. Then she spent the rest of her life dedicated to the welfare of her country men.
The snarky comment "not a penny of it earned" was really not called for. This woman has spent her entire life working for her country. Then think of all the people she employs. A little jealously is showing.
There are way too many homeless people for me to sit and watch this video. Ouch. Why are there not homes built for those who need shelter? Why is it not done so long ago? Why? are people living this wealthy while others are struggling to even survive? This is a tragedy.... that's all I have to say.
I learned a lot from your well researched video - especially about St. James’s Palace. I do think, though, that it could mislead some viewers into thinking that Princess Anne owns or lives in all of these buildings. Gatcombe Park is her main residence and she has an apartment at St. James’s in London. She hasn’t lived in Clarence House since she was a toddler and Sandringham is owned by the monarch. Many family members - including Anne and her family - are invited there each year for Christmas. That’s very different from listing it as one of her residences. She spends time in the late summer at the monarch’s privately-owned Scottish residence, Balmoral Castle, but it’s not her property. All in all, she seems to live as simply as a modern working royal can.
Clarence House has been The King's residence since The Queen Mother died. Sandringham house is privately owned by the family which by proxy means The Monarch. Neither of these residences belong to Anne.
The festival of British eventing is no longer held at Gatcombe Park - the last year it ran was 2023, but was cancelled halfway through due to inclement weather.
They're nice but, they don't standup to The French Chateaux of The Loire Valley, but then they are English which explains why they tend to be square and kind of stodgy.
She maybe a hardworking member of the Royal, but is she deserving of so many accommodations? If you look at the majority of the hard working people of the UK, and how many people live then I would say certainly not.
COMMENTS: Which of these stately residences is your favorite?
She started the whole Gloucestershire thing
@catherinenewman6516 I am pretty sure Gloucester was there prior to HRH Princess Royal.
Gatscombe Park is, I think, my favorite.
@@carolinemcgovern8059 No, that's not what the other Catherine meant. She meant she POPULARISED Gloucester amongst the royals.

Princess Anne is such a true beautiful royal lady.❤️

The Brit's support of their royals never ceases to amaze me.
Indeed - it is truly wonderful. King Country Commonwealth.
There is also a significant number of Brits who don't support the monarchy. Around 25%
We Americans love them too. Millions visit each year just to see the palaces.
The American's support of their own celebrities (in sport and entertainment) never ceases to amaze me.
@ Most Americans do not support “Celebrities” or “Athletes”. Only the liberals.
