Man those monsters rip it up! Another quality vid dude I love it! Question, with such power being pushed on those bearings, what do you use to lube or clean them? Or do you simply just replace them with a new one? And which are your go to bearings of choice?
Thanks so much Brother 😜. I spray my bearings with silicone spray after a wash down whenever my rigs either get wet or simply need a cleaning. I'll replace them if they get trashed, usually use Avid, Jim's Bearings, or FastEddy. Often I recondition them by popping the rubber shields, cleaning with WD-40, and then using either bearing oil or sometimes I pack hub bearings with NanoPro MT marine grease and reseal them. That's a solid way to protect them during the wet season. 🍻

Mr Duperbash! Merry Christmas to you and yours!! Question for you. In my mini revo I installed a futaba 204gf receiver and now I have no brake. If I go to hit the brakes it throws the gears in reverse. Any idea why? I take the futaba off an throw the tqi in and ot runs normal. Recently I've been running the regular size vxl 3s esc in it and it awakens the stock vxl motor up big time. Not sure what's up with the brake situation though. I have a hobbywing max10 with a 3652 hobbywing. At least with that I can hook it up to the box to adjust it
Merry Christmas John 🤗. My guess is the Futaba reciever reciever doesn't jive with the TQi controller. I honestly have little faith in the Traxxas electronics. The Revo mini is friggin sick!!! Such a little Ripper 😍. Glad to hear about the VXL 3s ESC. The Hobbywing setup sounds awesome too. 🍻 😎💪👊👊
@Rich Duperbash lol I guess i should have said I have a futaba 3pv. I messed with it again and I'm at a loss. Hopefully the hobbywing esc will get it together
@@Oh_its_Sheaf damn 😂. Sorry I didn't think to mention doing that. I try to recalibrate any time I unplug from the reciever or swap electronics. Great to hear!!!
Good deal Brother 🤗. I was tempted to grab one, but M2C already has a brilliant solution that's probably significantly lighter and won't require grease on the saver bits. It won't bind up over time or require any maintenance. 🍻
@@richduperbash2966 Yeah, I just couldn't wait. I am sick of constantly breaking them. I'm sure I'll have the M2C motor mount. But I'll leave everything as it is. Yeah, you have to say that. You get stuff for free. I don't have that luxury. So I get what's available when I need it. Good for you having M2C give you things to test and get for free.
@@700Dragon1 yeah I've been helping test their parts and coming up with upgrade suggestions for years, starting with the MT410. Some of the testing is very time involved such as piston tuning to establish a happy medium for the masses. We've had failures, revisions, and parts that simply needed rethinking. I still have and use the first prototype Kraton 6s chassis among others. Definitely take pride in the testing process and feel honored to work with Mitch and Avery. It's not necessary to have every upgrade. I always recommend getting what makes sense and fits your budget. We all dump plenty of cash in this hobby regardless 🍻
@@richduperbash2966 Totally agree! You definitely put parts to the test! And I have a Ton of M2C parts, in fact all of my buggys are full of M2C, but they didn't have a bell crank and servo horn when I needed to order. So I did what I had to do. Rather than wait. I don't like when mine are down.
Technical jumping question for you that's hopefully not too hard to answer, or maybe it's a video idea? 🤙 When you're hitting the ramps or mounds with the intention of back/front flipping, you're not hitting the ramps at full throttle, or are you? Just curious because as I understand it, you need some throttle left to flip or correct the rig in air. Merry Christmas to you and the ones you love!! 🎄🎅
Thanks Andy 🤗. I generally gear up to have both increased speed and wheelspin while in the air. It's true if you've maxed out your speed when hitting the ramp it limits the available wheelspin you have to flip the truck. That said, it's hard to achieve true max speed over terrain during a ramp approach. There's still more wheelspin with the tires unloaded once airborne. We're gunning for top speeds when doing these huge jumps and still have plenty of wheelspin to pull multiple flips no problem. Wheel mass and tire ballooning play a huge roll. If you max your speed with lighter buggy tires (say on the Typhon 6s), that's when air control/corrections and flips can become difficult. Merry Christmas Brother 🍻
I run the Proline #3227-00 1972 Chevy C-10 long bed. She's a tight fit, but works great. Just trimmed the rear wheel wells out straight in the rear. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Happy Holidays Brother 🍻🤙🤙😎💪👊👊
Rnning the Hobbystar 6912 HV brutal torque servo from RC juice. You need the larger ARRMA 8s servo mount and have to add an extra M3 3mm long spacer to the saver set screw to fully close the saver assembly due to the size difference. Guys have made the mistake of over-tightening the screw and snapping it in the servo spline not realizing the stock screw is too long with bigger servos. 🍻
I absolutely love it. Just wondering does anyone soak their plastic with wd40.???? I broke a A-arm on my first 6s truck my notorious. I learned about soaking the plastic in wd40 so o soak my entire car over night then dry it out the next day. I haven’t broken one plastic part since except my ERevo but the arm broke at the seam where it’s factory made or melted together. Now I have arms for days and all kinds of upgrades because nothing has broken. Although my sledge chassis is now bent but only the front. Now I’m gonna bash the snot outta of her!!!! Already have all the upgrades ready to go but I don’t upgrade untill I break it. Absolute sick sends and those blind landings are crazy Brother!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!! And MERRY CHRISTMAS BROTHER!!!!!!
Thanks so very much Brother 😜. Yes...many guys do soak parts in WD-40 👍. I typically don't, but I do often clean both metals and plastics with it on a toothbrush which may have a similar effect. I use WD-40 Silicone spray on my bearings, hinge pins, and CVDs after every wash down after drying and using the air compressor. Upgrading after you break is usually the best approach 👊. The exception is parts that are known to bust that cause significant collateral damages with failure 😝. The trick is upgrading wisely and not unnecessarily, being mindful of added grams along the way. Added weight has to be justified or it ultimately robs performance, strains the drivetrain, or can lead to other breakages. Truly appreciate the kind words my friend 🤗. Merry Christmas!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 yessir well said my brother a lot of people upgrade not realizing that one upgrade makes another part of the vehicle handle more stress then it’s made for, next thing you know your upgrading because you have to the other parts are put under to much stress from the first upgrade that may not have even been necessary. @@richduperbash2966 thanks for the advice I may get the m2c wide kit better value then traxxas one aswell also what do you think about the A arms I cased a few turns today at a bmx park resulting in going end to end and the stock ear A arms have some small movement now is this normal and is an upgrade the way to go to prevent this if so which ones.
@@ar12. some movement is normal. The Traxxas HD arms are definitely stronger than stock if you break the stockers. 🍻
Thanks bro👊🏻👍🏻😉
Merry christmas and a happy New year🚀🚀🚀
You too Brother 🤗🚀🚀
Awesome rich. I love seeing that XRT flying high I can't wait to get mine. I'm definitely not gonna bash as hard as you. Yes I love my outcast 8S exb m2c set up like your complete monster. Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄
Thank you Brother 🤗. The XRT is more capable than many thought. Yes she needs some upgrades, but she has inherent strength advantages over the XMaxx and handles great. Gotta love the O8s EXB with some M2C 😍. Full Beast mode my friend!!! 😎💪👊👊
@richduperbash2966 yes sir that's for sure. Yeah I'm definitely gonna love the XRT. Has already few upgrades running the max 6 with basherqueen mount and just stock motor should be alot of fun with that and the speed gearing. 👊
Hope your haven a happy holiday brotha!! The outcast 8s is one rig I still haven't got and will own one this summer. Great video as always.
Thanks so much Mikel 🤗. Love my O8s 😍. Easily my favorite bigger basher. Happy holidays Brother!!! 🍻
What a perfect video to wake uo to dear brother Rich🥳❤️. XRT looking so awaome good, same with big red, thwy both was on point. 🤗
Thanks so much dear Brother Thomas 😍. Can't wait to sort the bell crank. Such a fast and nimble BIG truggy. Big Red was in Beast mode out there!!!🚀🚀😎💪👊👊

Thanks so very much Robert 🤗. Hope you get your gears sorted Brother. Happy Holidays🍻😎💪👊👊
Wicked bash session! Once I can get my rear diff on the XMAXX sorted out I'll be back at it!
Thanks so much Bobby. Hopefully you'll get back out soon. 🍻
Hey @rich duperbash what are you currently running for diff fluid in the front and rear? I know you mentioned you would be ear plugging the center
A wonderful bash session the xrt is not as bad as I thought 😀 awesome Rich
Thanks so much Dhon 😜. The XRT handles really well overall. Doesn't feel Beastly like the O8s or K8s, but she's light and capable. Just needs her weakpoints sorted with proper upgrades. Really appreciate it Brother. 🍻😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 Awesome man, thank you so much for the infos! Much appreciated!
Awesome session. Your trucks are just insanely powerful. I jus ordered a bunch of M2c stuff and 1100kv motor for my XRT. Can’t wait to get it all together and rip. I need to build me a moon send ramp. Have a safe and merry Christmas and happy new year brother !
Thanks so much Brother 🤗. These rigs are so much more FUN and capable with proper power and tuning 😱. Yes it raises the stakes, but it keeps you more focused too. You're doing it right with the M2C bits and 1100kv. Merry Christmas and Happy New year too you too Brother!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊
Absolutely epic bash bother Rich. So bell crank no.7 man that’s nuts. Looking forward to seeing what Avery comes up with. That will be a huge beneficial upgrade. Mate, Big Red ran brilliantly even after those hard hits nothing broke, simply awesome. Love this vid brother. 😎👍🏼👊🏼👌🏼💪🏼
Thanks so much Brother Dave 😜!!! Can't wait to drop the M2C bell crank in the XRT. I knew breakage #7 was gonna happen, just didn't know which jump would finish her off 😂. Big Red did absolutely stellar out there. She took some nasty hits and just kept going 😍. What a Beast!!! Merry Christmas my friend. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Yessir brother🚀🚀 XRT looks good up until the bell crank goes... every time😬. Loved seeing Big Red back in action, it's been awhile. Just no death rock again🤣🤪😁🍻
Thanks Brother 🤗. XRT was doing great up until the bell crank. Did everything I could to have fun and not break it too early 😂. Felt so AWESOME to get Big Red out again 😍. She took some hard hits too. Hopefully never have another death rock nose slammer again 🤯. She forgave me and has been kicking ass ever since. 🍻😎💪👊👊

What're your all time favorite packs for these big rigs?? (Specifically that will fit in O8s)
Sick video as always, always a brighter part of my day when you upload a new one 😎🦅
Thank you Brother 🤗. The Zeee 7200mah 80c 4s packs are great especially if you find them on sale through Amazon. I also run Hobbystar packs, but their prices have kept going up the past few years. Ovonic is becoming a new favorite. Great quality and performance with very reasonable prices 😍. Most all Lipos will fit in the ARRMA 8s rigs. Just have to move the rear lipo tray catch rearwards for some packs. 🍻
Awesome videos as always brother! Have you ever drove a CEN reeper? I recently got one on a trade and I love it. With a few minor mods they’re a blast. Would love to see it maybe get some love and attention from guys like you that get decent exposure. Such a fun and underrated rig in my opinion
Thanks so much Brother 🤗. I've only bashed a Reeper briefly. Definitely a very fun and underrated rig. Unfortunately I don't have local parts support. That's a drawback for me personally. 😎💪👊👊
I'm just not the best with air control yet, so I land bad alot
I'd I'm not mistaken the driveshafts are thicker than the xmaxx shafts
@@restinpiecesrc5528 yes the driveshafts are huge in the Reeper. It’s a pretty tough truck and they are $550 right now. The truck is just a tad smaller than an xmaxx and runs on 6s They’re about 16lbs so pretty light and they’re pretty fast out of the box. 150a Hobbywing ESC and a 1450kv motor
Hi Rich how are you. Happy new years man. Quick question on the XRT what shock oils are you using? Since you bash it so hard stocks fluids probably won't hold up.
Happy New Year Brother 🤗. Sorry I missed your message 👀. I'm running 100 weight with M2C pistons and VG Racing springs.
@richduperbash2966 HI Rich ok thank you. Nice I gotta look up those VG springs. So the M2c pistons from the Xmaxx fit into the XRT as well right? Yeah I can't wait to go bash mine once I have some time 🫵👍

If you fit an alloy Bellcrank, servo horn will something else break instead?
It's possible the steering/toe links would break, but they generally flex and bow being plastic. Once I upgraded my XMaxx bell crank, drag link, and servo horn, my breakages stopped 👍
Are there any brands that make universal driveshafts for the arrma 1/8 6s outcast?
M2C Racing makes beefier hardened steel driveshafts for the 6s line. They're a direct replacement for the stockers. 🍻
WHEN WILL YOU DO A 6S HPI SAVAGE THE WORLD IS WAITING ON THIS🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Rich your bash videos are insane. Do u use motor fans on your 1/8 trucks when doing these massive jumps or do they break on you just use a heat sink?
Thanks Brother 🤗. I generally don't use fans or heat sinks on my basher's. Just gear my rigs to hit around 150F tops motor and maybe 130-140F ESC. Quality fans and heatsinks definitely work, I just prefer not to bother with the extra weight and hassle when possible. 😎💪👊👊
@richduperbash2966 ok nice i will experiment with gearing and keep the running temps to around 150F tops for motor and 130-140 esc thanks heaps.

Man I was missing Big Red 😍. What a Beast!!!
@@Oh_its_Sheaf I think it will Brother 👊
@Rich Duperbash I recalibrated the esc and booyah!
@@Oh_its_Sheaf damn 😂. Sorry I didn't think to mention doing that. I try to recalibrate any time I unplug from the reciever or swap electronics. Great to hear!!!
I got the Vitavon Bell crank and servo horn. I have been through a bunch too!
I don't like when mine are down.
cool rc's and bashing
What body did you use on the orange darling
I run the Proline #3227-00 1972 Chevy C-10 long bed. She's a tight fit, but works great. Just trimmed the rear wheel wells out straight in the rear. 🍻😎💪👊👊

So great to have two great M2Cified options from Traxxas and Arrma.... #Winning
What a great RC crew you can bash with.... Your Blessed brother
Thanks so much Brother Dennis 😜. The XRT has exceeded my expectations 👀. She handles Killer with the M2C wide kit and Backflips and has taken considerable punishment despite some nagging weak points. Happy Holidays Brother 🍻🤙🤙😎💪👊👊
Now he needs the hobao mtx
What servo are you running in the outcast ?
Rnning the Hobbystar 6912 HV brutal torque servo from RC juice. You need the larger ARRMA 8s servo mount and have to add an extra M3 3mm long spacer to the saver set screw to fully close the saver assembly due to the size difference. Guys have made the mistake of over-tightening the screw and snapping it in the servo spline not realizing the stock screw is too long with bigger servos. 🍻
@@richduperbash2966 thanks brother!!😎
