It _is_ the Rossi r92. Rossi, Taurus, and Heritage are all owned by BrasTech. Part of the reason that Rossi stopped making basically all of their lever guns is because those have been transferred to Heritage, who will be making them from now on.
Probably that they're revolvers are almost all made from zanak. Not to worry though; all of the rifles made by heritage are manufactured from alloy steel
It does not have a threaded barrel. It does have a manual hammer block safety on top of the bolt, in addition to the traditional half cock safety, but that's the only thing really that differs from the original 1892

I don't have one in front of me and can't remember, but I do not believe these are drills and tabs.
