Each time I listen to the song - for most of all interpretation of it - no matter how many times before I've already listen to it, no matter in what mood I do feel, still get chills. There are no words to describe the real way it makes you feel when it comes to your ears and reaches your soul. Kind of lost in a maze of beauty, pleasure, unknown love, pleasant sorrow and sadness all at once. Oblivion es una de las composiciones de Astor Piazzolla que mas me gusta, seguramente fue concebida en uno de los momentos de mas inspiracion del Maestro de maestros, no me canso de oirla.
Absolutely Beautiful!!! Does anyone know if this arrangement, and hopefully, these performers have recorded this piece (just audio)? Even better, if they recorded it in a studio with no one coughing or banging things. At least the audience held off their applause at the end for moment to savor the magic of what they had just heard.

In twenty years of dancing Tango I have never seen Oblivion danced appropriately to the music- even when Tango Masters dance it... I have tried to interpret its musicality by just 'feeling' the music BUT it's fiendishly difficult.

Best recording of this piece I've heard on RUclips. Wonderful legato and understanding of bowing. Many of the other performances of this have swells and accents that disrupt the phrase.
Our family moved around many places in the world since I was young. Many thought it was a blessing, but then time, I was so sad to part with my friends, my pets, and everyone around. My heart was torn, when I came to the idea that everyone would forget me, leaving me behind, while everyone else will be moving on together. I cried... Now I understand that nothing goes on eternity, and that we would be together, if that is meant to be. Yet, this music reminds me of the pain I felt in my heart.
I love this piece, and I've heard so, so many versions--especially partial to Duo KM's rendition for two guitars, but this...this...Arabella, you simply make me weep.
