It was only my body leaving it for more than four decades. But I forgot my heart,soul and love for this incredible music there.

I am 67 years old and it was not till now that I want to see more female figure skating, and learn of it's history. I just now went over to see Mirai Nagasu and . . . wow!. However, I will be back to watch Yuna Kim and Evgenia Medvedeva.

Honestly, the harmonica version did it for me. I appreciate all the others as well, but there is something about the clear sweet tones of the harmonica that seems to draw out the emotions the best. The accordian and violin are a close second.

ALL are so different and fascinating to compare for those with music knowledge. Of course Piazzolla's composition is outstanding - but there are almost countless others in the jazz and classical fields which are performed in differing ways. The wonderful music of Bach and others was often re-interpreted, to great effect. The best became better than best sometimes!. The same melody with quite different harmonies and timings can result in magnificent journeys for listeners and players alike. So yes, same tune X 15 versions is a magic idea. Carry on !

The PRINCIPLE of this listing is superb, particularly for musicians and those passionately interested in music, melodies, harmonies, and performances. ALL are so different and fascinating to compare for those with music knowledge. Of course Piazzolla's composition is outstanding - but there are almost countless others in the jazz and classical fields which are performed in differing ways. The wonderful music of Bach and others was often re-interpreted, to great effect. The best became better than best sometimes!. The same melody with quite different harmonies and timings can result in magnificent journeys for listeners and players alike. So yes, same tune X 15 versions is a magic idea. Carry on !
