Rear Triangle from the Sugar Hold - Jiu Jitsu for MMA

In Catch Wrestling, they call this position the Sugar Hold, and it's an absolutely amazing place to posture up and throw fight finishing strikes in an MMA fight.
But in the context of pure grappling it's a great position, too because it opens up a whole new path of creativity.
Pay attention to the details here and make sure you get the placement of your hand correct as well as the footwork. Otherwise, you're gonna struggle and do the whole "this move doesn't work for me" thing. Nonsense. You just need a better understanding. As with most things.

This is awesome . If your right foot would lock behind his right lat, at the end of the triangle , I do think it would provide better strangulation . I love the entry to this . The rear triangle is my favorite triangle because the armlock options are so good, and his escape ability sucks from it
