- This is one of my favorite Papa Jo's albuns (the others are with his trio on album "Everest Years", "The Drums" and "Percussion and Bass").
Here, he plays more freely with some great long drum solos.

Why the fuck is this album not listed for purchase anywhere?! There can't be good reason for this..
I wish I had tons of money. I'd open up a Steak place with this kind of Jazz. Great Steaks. Great Jazz. I'd have the bar set up where the band stand is at the top of the bar. The bar would surround the band stand. The room would be divided into three parts. Up Close to the band for those who must 'dig it.' Then a little farther out where you can talk, eat and enjoy the music. Then tables, sort of, far away, where they can really talk but enjoy the flavor of this music. I think it would work. What about you? Anybody got a couple of 'spare million' laying around? Lets go for it!
Go ask Trump for that million!

Actually, slowly fall up a staircase would be a great track, but buster keaton would of been the only one capable of Doing the film to it. He was a pure genius. Clever and fearless. An athlete of smith.

I can hear the Gene krupa style in him ..he really is a magic player ,,One of the most tastiest drummers who ever lived ,, Not many drummers are in this class ! ,He is a super drummer and entertainer !
By far better and more creative than Krupa !
