I completely agree. I have never really liked the blend that I get with a brush, but I can't deny that using a brush I can make a little bit of foundation go a lot further than I can with a sponge. I mean, come on, it should be obvious that a SPONGE would soak up more. It is a freaking sponge. lol

I have to disagree with her saying to start ur makeup on the outer part of the face first! As a mua and from classes, that isn't encouraged AT ALL! Most people need more coverage and longevity in the center of the face area out..we tend to wear through the foundation from the center of the face..l know we want to think from the outer areas of the face but it's not really so....so always start applying foundations from the center then outer areas of ur face! If you need more coverage for the outer areas, then just add more foundation as you desire...and ALWAYS blend down all your neck...😊
Completely agree. & most people need more coverage towards the center of the face and less towards the outer because of acne marks and scars towards the tzone. It wouldn't make sense to put most of the coverage on the outside and then lose coverage towards the center.
Girl that's why we use concealer in the center of the face!! If you put too much foundation on the center and than apply concealer it would look so cakey!!!! I do the same has Amanda and it works but everyone is different that doesn't mean she is wrong
I always start in the center UNLESS it's sweat proof look. The more product in the center, the more the foundation starts to cake off when it gets hot or humid. That's why I use less foundation in the center and replace with concealer to cover anything.

Am I the only one who has no luck with primers? I've tried SO many (drugstore&highend) and I've never ever noticed\seen a difference.. it kinda sucks xD
It does also depend on what foundation you use. Some primers work with both oil and water based foundations; but for the most part they don't. So if you have an oil based foundation- you need an oil based primer, and if you have a water-based foundation, you need a water based primer. If you don't, and you mix the two, they often don't work that well and can actually do the opposite and move away from one another and separate. Think of what happens when you wash a frying pan with oil in, the oil and water don't mix. same principle xxxxx

I used to lived in Miami and my girl friends always told me that but it never happened to me, but I don’t wear foundation on a daily basis and maybe that’s why! You should try the Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector, I use that on the sides of my nose bc it gets oily there and that primer is like GLUE!!! You’ll have your makeup through and apocalypse lol

The thing about the brush soaking a lot of product is the opposite the beauty blender is the thing that will soak up the product

If you still haven’t found a good primer, the no pore blem primer by touch and sol works amazing by blurring pores!! I’m
