Not meaning to sound rude but with respect I’m so sick of people with literally flawless skin talking about how it’s not ok to wear cakey make up. No understanding of the fact that some people actually want to cover their imperfections and that this is often near impossible to do without having full coverage over them.. which is bound to look cakey at times
Right I’m acne prone and have so many dark sports and I’m trying to find better ways to do my makeup but these videos really be no help. They always have flawless skin. I just wish people who have acne/darkspots and ect. would do these type of videos more.
there are tons of videos of people with acne sharing how they cover their imperfections as naturally as they could, just search for "makeup for acne" or something like that.
I used to be obsessed with covering my acne and hyperpigmentation that my makeup looks so cakey and weird but now I'm only about covering hyperpigmentation but not so much acne bcuz we can't really hide acne no matter how much concealer we put on top of it the bump is still there and the makeup base just ends up looking weird and unnatural. Acne sucks, but I've learned to normalize it to myself, even if it peeks through my foundation. It's stressful sure, but I'm moving my focus and money more into skincare to try and fix it. The journey is long and hard but it's less stressful (mentally) knowing that at least I'm doing my best & not just trying to cover the problem rather than solving it
Also not meaning to sound rude but cakey makeup NEVER covers the imperfections, maybe in photos or when you look from great distance, otherwise it only draws attention to whatever you have going on and it makes it look 10 times worse. Flawless skin or acne, both ways try not to overdo it ❤ I feel like it's always obvious to everyone else just not the person wearing the makeup
@@klaudijajak6099well it’s either have cakey makeup or huge red pimples all over your face. I’d rather pick the makeup.
@@shiananicholas Trust there is a way to cover acne and not look extremely cakey/ textured in the process. I’ve had ginormous cysts in my early teens, and one thing is hydration is key. I remember vividly the despair of getting a giant cyst on my cheek right before picture day 😫But there’s plenty of people online to show you how to do it so it looks as natural as possible without the pimple showing through and lasting all day.
If i had your skin i wouldnt even apply all that makeup on. You are so blessed with beautiful skin ❤
me toooo omggg in my dreams
If you're wondering, she uses tretinoin to get that skin
@@yanautau5041 thanks yes i watched her video on that too
@sara T. don't forget she used skin blurring filter. At 2:13 , you can see the knuckle of her fingers are blurred, but there is glitch in the middle of her forehead. You can see the shiny part has small little bumps
@@leanhkokay but her real face is actually really good and filters doesn’t really do that much
I have not subscribed to any beauty influencer until now, I came across your channel and I am glad I found it, have been binge-watching it. Straight to the point, raw, and with good vibes. You are really beautiful, subscribed❤
tip: if u are using a water based primer or cream, use water based concealer and foundation cause if ur using oil and water based products together, they will separate just like how water and oil separate but on your skin (nvm i watched the rest of the vid and she alr mentioned this)
How do I know if a product is water based or serum ?
@@aimaFHS just look at the very first ingredient, if it says aqua - its water based
@@Thisiszaizai this is slightly incorrect as most foundations regardless whether water-based or silicone-based will usually have water as the first ingredient. the best way is to check the next few ingredients! anything ending in -xane or -cone will be silicone based! if you do not see it, then it's water based :)
@@JondeeTenorio Ah ok thanks! what if it’s oil based??
@@Thisiszaizai Oil-based will contain jojoba oil, mineral, or another oil ^_^
I needed this. I almost gave up using foundation cause I kept peeling and it was so frustrating. Thank you for sharing your tips and tricks. I’m going to try again.
Girl you have blessed skin in the first place tho lol
exactly
Exactly 💯
Fr 😂
First seconds of the video she said she had bad skin before too..
No way, she worked for that skin.
I love how short, easy, and informative the video is! This is great!
the primer + foundation - this is so important! I had to give up on the Milk/Elf primers since most of my foundations are silicone based and they would always lift. The only water based foundations I can use w/them: MAC/Dior F&B. Kosas Revealer is supposed to be water-based but haven't tried them together.
Can i just say thank you for sharing the knowledge and all the good content ❤ Your videos have always been the most helpful to me. Since forever and through every makeup trend and skin condition I'm going through! Thank you so much 🙏🏻
❤️👍

You're stunning, thriving, and beautiful. The primer/foundation tip is something I've got to look into!

thanks for sharing these tips on how to avoid cakey makeup, this is a beauty game-changer! It brings to mind the invaluable lessons I gained from my lifecoach, Lisa Haisha, during a retreat in the Philippines. Love this look so natural 😍 which shade in the Charlotte tilbury powder are you using? ❤️
Girl your skin is absolutely beautiful and flawless to being with ❤️❤️❤️❤️ btw, youre truly a goddess 🥰🥰🥰
👍♥️
For everyone saying she doesn’t need make up… please just stop… you don’t need that coffee every day and yet you still buy one each morning… she wants to wear makeup.. let her. Just cus she’s blessed doesn’t mean she can’t wear whatever she wants.. aside from the fact that she’s teaching you how to do makeup.. how is she supposed to do it without demonstrating.. be kind
None were unkind 🤨
I like all the informationa you gave us. Now I know more about it. Thank you:)
can you do a video on makeup with tretinoin and some tips ? 🥹❤
The tatcha dewy skin is DEF worth the splurge....I love it.
yes, Tatcha dewy skin cream is worth the splurge ⭐️ it’s so good! I’m about to pull that La Roche Posay cleanser and sunscreen out my stash, because you make them both look so dreamy on the skin ☁️
🔆 I just love it
Just remember, if your sunscreen is older than 12 months, it probably doesn't do the job
Would you recommend the eye cream?
You have such beautiful skin, and I love your videos. What skin products do you use? Any suggestions on a good foundation with decent coverage? I am 46 and my skin has changed so much. I haven't found a foundation that works for me.
Please share your lip gloss brand! I love the shine❤
Great content❤️‼️🍀
Need this 😌💜
So useful tytyty
your skin omg i wanna cry
It might sound crazy but I’ve always used setting powder and used blush afterwards and it worked. Then I found out that you’re supposed to do it the other way around but my face starts burning sometimes like that, especially in the areas my glasses come in contact with my skin.
Peeling can also be due to products not mixing. (primer & foundation like they said)
Yes! That’s not micro exfoliation! U need to tap foundation on over hydro grip primer or it will pill!! It’s not skin balling up from rubbing
Loved this video! What shade was the Lancôme skin tint ?
Can you show us how you did your eyebrows,,,,you're so beautiful with blessed beautiful skin
love it
