I like Mrs. Chamberlain. She’s kind and loving and understands life in New York at this time. All these rich people who have so many secrets should not judge.
I agree. The drama really runs with Bertha Russell so that must be why they have Mrs Chanberlain to balance out. Two women not accepted. Nice dynamic. Thanks for joining the conversation!
Her son Archer Huntington built Atalaya and Brookgreen Gardens near Murrells Inlet,SC. The artwork in the gardens are amazing.A beautiful Gold Atlas holding up the world. He also bought all the land that was to become Huntington Beach,CA
You know I was wondering and here you did all the work for me. Love your videos and am finding them to be very well researched. BTW- Arabella is most def Mrs. C. Thanks and keep up the good work!
I love your videos and appreciate the research you put into them. It's fascinating to learn who the inspirations were behind the characters. Gives them more depth. Thank you!
I think Arabella more feisty than Mrs C who seems, in ep 6, to be less defiant than I think she should be. But then, times are certainly different now. Thanks for joining the conversation!

Why do you think they called it "The Gilded Age"? Things were not always as they appeared under that thin veneer of gold.
