I’m hoping OSU can find a place for them and get them committed. - We always hear that recruiting is about relationships and with Michigan replacing over half their staff, it makes sense that they are slow to gain commitments. Unless the NCAA actually drops a hammer, by the end of NSD they will land their fringe top 10 recruiting class and fill out their roster with established players from the portal. We’ll have to wait and see how Moore does as head coach, but I would expect them to be a top ten team, competing for titles. However if they get smacked by the NCAA, it could get ugly up there.

The most likely scenario is any major punishment will be against people who the NCAA doesn't think will litigate like Stalions and Harbaugh. 2. Maybe Harbaugh just didn't know. Given that there is no evidence to indicate that he did and the advantage gained from this was minimal (and it was minimal as evidenced by Vegas lines only marginally moving and Michigan crushing the spread the last 8 games), it seems very plausible this wasn't being overseen by Harbaugh.

This one is for Nevada, It’s funny how the defensive coordinator is in such relative low demand in comparison to being an offensive guru.. Defense is very simple, it’s the “Jimmy’s and the Joe’s not the X’s and the O’s”. Have a front that has freaks, effect the QB. Then guys like Sonny that are freaks and can match up with a position group or more. If your corners can cover and are tough. So to be good on defense you want freaks and then you want those guys to have solid technique like an Iowa defender, good eye discipline and then play within the structure of the defense. Simple in concept and then of course the mentality of the defense, can they bow up. Bend don’t break, be good in the redzone. Make the other QB beat you but if you have guys that go hunt on the line, you’re good. If you’re trying to teach the game of football to somebody, always good to start with defense, offense is way more complex. So… You could say that defensive coaches, are the “glorified gym teachers” of the coaching profession.
