- Welcome to Curious Perro. Over the past few weeks my videos have been focused on the planning and logistics that proceeded my three week trip to Colombia in late 2020. The reason that I have been looking back at previous trips is to set the stage for exploring future destinations and adventures in Colombia for the trip I am planning to take at the end of May, this year, 2021.

My flight to Medellin is 3 weeks away. I hope to be able to visit the beautiful town of Bucaramanga and other pueblos in Santander 😎
Welcome to Bucaramanga and the Department of Santander. If you want to know more tourist places in Santander, I recommend you visit my channel. Some places that I recommend you to investigate are: the towns of Charala, Zapatoca and San Vicente de Chucurí. And for tourist places I recommend the Páramo de Santurban, the Topocoro Reservoir and the Cueva de los Aviones in San Vicente de Chucurí. All close to Bucaramanga.

Study the vowels; Ahh A Eeh Oh Ooh. Keep your tongue more towards the front and roof of your mouth when speaking Spanish. It's a musical thing.

You're welcome. I removed the comment so that it stays only with us. I have two questions. Would you want to live in Colombia? Why or why not. If so, would Bucaramanga be too quiet or boring perhaps in comparison to say Medellin?
Thank you again. Yes I would live in Colombia but I must improve my Spanish to feel comfortable over the long term. Yes my preference would be to live in Medellin because of the activity. I currently live in a large US city so I think a rural or small town existence in Colombia would be too much of a change. Sister cities to Medellin like Sabaneta or Envigado are quite attractive to me.
