    U can do this without plastic foundation,an just make plain sheets,trick is it'll be brittle at first, BUT you HAVE to use roller on it and it molecularly bonds and is tough after rolling.THIS VERY GOOD VIDEO, AWESOME EXANATION,STEP BY STEP, GOOD JOB!! I subbed

    "You have to know how much wax to fill the mold." Proceeds to massively overfill it. 😆😆😆

    I had a feeling you would stop to find the Dyson Vacuum going on in the back ground and start a new show on suction forming with wax foundation using a Dyson. Seemed to be the person that uses tibble to produce a form generated in the 1200 for a stroke of genus. I was on the tinkering track and like the video but on to programming.

    Does beeswax get contaminated with pesticides and insecticides over time,when you recycle the wax is there a way of filtering chemical contaminants.?

      norfolk honeybee one of the benefits of making your own foundation is that you don’t buy in any outside contamination viruses or chemicals etc.

    Hallo, all beekeepers! Sorry, but this more than 120 years old Rietsche's metod of honeycomb foundation production is by my opinion slow, expensive and arduous. In Russia tryed to cast foundation with this metod directly into frames, but it is slow, expensive and arduous too. For small beekeepers (

    It does not convince me, those deteriorated parts of the wax are prone to the bee generating cell of drones

    Can we use commercial wax or we have to use bee wax only?

    • @BeeCraftMagazine
      @BeeCraftMagazine  2 года назад

      It would need to be beeswax. Commercial other wax could contain all sorts of ingredients that might be harmful to bees.

      Yes there is buying it, but your missing the point of the video, it is a craft, bit like it's easier if I went to IKEA to get a chair than craft one myself. Hence the craft in bee craft magazine 🙄
