Love my vq37 in my q70. Left the resonators on. Deleted the mufflers, put 5inch slash cut 18 inches long tips on. Sounds awesome not raspy. They look cool too.

I love str8 pipes, but that 2nd has a nice tone to it. 💯
This seems like a great place to get exhaust work, even offer free inspections. They want an arm and a leg where I live to just remove mufflers.
Imma go with the resonator delete. Straight pipe was to obnoxious and unrefined.
Just don’t leave the stock muffler, it sounds like shit.

Im confused, the second one still has the muffler and a res delete but you kept calling the second one a muffler delete not a res delete but it still has its muffler. Shouldn't the second one be a resonator delete not muffler delete???

I have a 2015 q40 3.7 i have a muffler delete and its not raspy and no drone it’s not to much louder but their is a difference I would recommend it
First one is straight pipe from the cat back.
Second is a resonator delete, please, don’t delete the resonator, it gets rid of the rasp. Just do a muffler delete.
I definitely like the resonator delete + muffler keep more than the straight pipe on this particular engine.
I was like nah straight pipes sound better then when I heard the muffler delete when he drove off should way nice and better in my opinion

stright pipes are the way to go for vqs imo the difference isnt as big on camera as it is irl. the straight pipes just sounds better and feels better

I like them both. Loud and raspy vs less loud but deep. I could get down with either
full straight pipe sounds like a bad trumpet. Should have got rid of the muffler and kept the resonator. I did that on my genesis and im gonna do it on both my G37s. Resonator keeps the deep tone without that trumpet sound but makes it loud without the muffler.
I think the one with the muffler still on the g37 is a resonator delete and and not a "muffler" delete because the muffler is still on there......laughing out loud!!!

You guys have to understand the coupe straight pipe sounds different than the sedan straight pipe. ive herd a coupe straight pipe in person and it sounds deeper than the rasp of the sedan. These videos dont do these sounds justice.

It's a little confusing.. when the 2dr drive away the first time, it says "muffler delete" across the screen.. but of I remember from the start of the video correctly, that's the car that still has the muffler on it..
...and when the one with the blue tips that has no mufflers or resonators is shown, it says "straight pipe"... So now I can't help but wonder if the inside tests were marked correctly or not.

This isn't a fair comparison since the sedan and coupe have different exhaust from the factory. The coupe is also louder and deeper from the factory.

@Megatron Knows So I actually decided to get an Fx35 instead for nor cabin room. I purchased a 3 inch Upower X-pipe, two 2.5 Dynomax mini race bullets to replace my stock resonator and two magnaflow performance mufflers for rear. Eager to hear what it will sound like. But before all of that I found out my Cat on the passenger side is bad
