Joey Mercury has done well for himself behind the scenes in WWE and killing it money wise
I watched that PPV live it was a very shocking and gruesome injury..
So did I bro. His face EXPLODED & was instantly turned in a half Hurst water balloon. Did know someone could swell up instantaneously
Yeah I remember this happening, it's an image that sticks in your mind.
It would've been cool if Joey Mercury was able to comment along with Conrad and Bruce during this segment
Although it doesn’t have the legends like most famous ladder matches, this is arguably the greatest ladder match I have ever seen.
I’ve been waiting for this topic
Wow, Joey didn’t want to leave the match? Imagine he’s still wrestle with a huge cut like that for sure he will pass out.
And his eye had swollen shut, how could he continue with one eye? 😧
This was the worst nose break i have seen , gory is the word
That spot also hurt every person involved. Jeff almost broke his collarbone and matt and nitro got hit in the throat.
Mercury didn't deserve that
At all
I like many, we were scared for not Joey Mercury the performer, we were scared for the man behind the Joey Mercury character, that injury was Sid breaking his leg level bad, it was scary, he's very lucky he still had his eye afterwards, he could have easily lost it
One of the worst looking injuries in WWE history!!
I remember watching it I always felt bad for him career was over after that match
It always makes me laugh because not only did he get hurt, but he got EMBARRASSED 😂😂😂😂 He should've had his hands up
Oh my lord that ambulance rule is ridiculous, what's the point of having an ambulance at the building if they have to wait for another one????? Does that make any sense?
Yes it does. If they leave then there’s no one there in case another accident happens. The paramedics on site are the important part, not the transportation.
The idea is the paramedics act like a "mobile hospital" with the purpose of treating on site, if they can't treat on site, they go to the hospital or in this case call for another ambulance.
I was at that PPV.
So?
Sooo I was at that ppv too .and I also ate a burger 🍔 n pooped in bathroom During the boogie man versus miz match 😆
The respect I have for wrestlers is tremendous, this dudes face gets pulverized and he wants to continue the match
Why haven't they learned to book TWO ambalances a show?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!? It had been what 7 years since Owen's death?
They can't, Bruce explained it.
Maybe get 2 ambulances for the show
Mercury’s face exploded when the ladder hit him. Hopefully we never see anything like that again.
He got EMBARRASSED 😂😂😂
In THE FACE !!!!
Lmfao I always laugh at that match. He got publicly EMBARRASSED 😂😂😂😂
Remember wrestling is fake tho😅
Thank God the guys were there to make sure the emt had the green light to take him to the er
