Wow Mark, we have the same story! I'm a retired IT programmer too. I built my own "monster" to manage my Ebay and Amazon sales. Just like you I got tired of spending so much time downloading and converting data, fixing formulas, trying to keep up with system changes, etc. I wanted to sell stuff, not work on a spreadsheet all day! I've been using Easy Auction Tracker for Ebay and Inventory Lab for Amazon for a few years. Now the majority of my time is spent sourcing, listing and shipping. :)

      Interesting!
Yea I was in restaurants as a District Manager and owned my own for many years, then made the move to IT related field. Worked for many companies and all over the globe. Then landed at a very large utility company as a IT Manager for over 20 years. Focused more on telephony and data communications. Was able to retire early and now sell Postcards :)

Thanks for the Birdseye tip. I use Aerial View, but now I'm using both ;)

I actually read some where at sometime that people look for these different terms. I tried to find that article, but could not find it again
      it has been a while.

Good video! If someone worked full time listing/selling postcards on eBay, do you think they could earn a full time income?

I know a lot of full time resellers but they have diversified items they sell. Postcards is possible probably have to get into some higher end postcards. It would be tough tho. Maybe hire some employees to do volume.

What's your net profit per card when you sell it for $4.45 after all fees on eBay? I still do all my bookkeeping manually with spreadsheets. Do you use promoted listings on eBay?

It all depends on what I buy the card for. Basically in the 35% - 55% range.
All cards are set to 1% Promoted listings.
