The JET Programme: A journey into Japan

- This is the story of the 3 years I spent living in Japan on the JET Programme.
I was fortunate to experience life in both rural Hokkaido and urban Kobe. From the snowy north of Japan, to the sandy beaches of the south, I loved every second of my time there and was able to explore every corner of this incredible country.
This video is my (Theo's) submission to the JET Programme's 2024 video contest. Its quite different from all of the other videos on this channel, but it was great to look back on my time in Japan and present it in a more personal way.
I hope you enjoy :)

Goosebumps! You’re wildly talented. Incredible representation of the programme 👏
Thank you! Tried to be as honest as I could, shame the limit is 5 minutes because I could have easily gone on for 20
Yessssirrr!
This channel has grown from strength to strength.
Neato!
😎
I was in it for 2 frames, surely this will win.
They were the best 2 frames
You make me want to apply to the JET program...
If you can apply, I'd recommend giving it a go! You never know what sort of experience you're going to have!
I went to that same castle in Beppu and was blessed by their white snake! And I love the Yamagata reference because I am a JET in Yamagata and I actually can see Zao mountain from my school!
We rate Yamagata very highly, although the APA in Yamagata city is fairly dated 😅
why did u transfer to kobe?
Can you please tell me if your educational background matters. I'm currently pursuing my BSC honours degree in the major of statistics but at the same time I'm serving as an English language trainer in an institution which is associated with the British council.
Your educational background does not matter for JET, the only condition is that you have a Bachelor's degree (doesn't matter what in). Your English Language Trainer experience will be a big help for your application if you decide to apply!
@@wegoeast Can you make a video on how to get selected by that Programme, I really dream on moving to japan.
