- Welcome back folks! Join me as we take a more analytical look into the numbers side of living in Japan while on JET Program. I am not a financial professional nor do I claim to be. However, after being in Japan for some time now, I have found these numbers to be reasonably accurate. I figured someone out there in the world might benefit from this video. Cheers world!
Thank you so much. This is the most beautiful and practical video discussing JET budgeting.
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Loved the video, my goal is to enter JET after college and then go from there. This video really helped me see how the different expenditures are and gave me an idea of what to expect, thanks!
Absolutely! Lots to think about when living over here. I know how much I wanted a budgeting parameter to go off before I made my way over here. Thanks for the support! Best of luck!
Thanks for the video. Very helpful stuff 👍. I got placed in Ehime ken so I'll be across the bay in like two weeks lol
Great video, never considered looking into the financial breakdown of JET life. Do you plan on staying in japan after JET or heading back to the U.S.?
I've actually returned to the US since that video. I plan on making a video talking about whats next for me and which direction the channel is moving! Its really good to get a realistic approach to budgeting though for JET in my opinion! Thanks for the comment!
Thanks for the video Frady. I've accumulated a few of these budgeting videos now and it's always reassuring to see how the salary works out in different places.
You bet! Take it for what it is but I've tried to pretty strict with the numbers. Glad it's giving you a good idea of how to think/prep for JET! Cheers!
@@fradysfilmsCould you make a video on how to write a good statement of purpose and your thoughts on that as a successful applicant? 😁
@@Chris-ez4yt I think there are lots of resources out there for that! I think you could probably use chatGPT as a baseline and then move along with an edit from there!
