Not a dumb question; yes you can use PlayStation chat with these earbuds and when you connect them to the PS5 and update them and adjust your EQ settings and Sidetone voice audio it will sync over so when you play on the Portal, your mic isn’t too low or loud over the game play and your voice comes in nice and clear.
@CraytonTv if you follow Sony's instructions to pair Portal with the Pulse Elite $150 headset, it just doesn't work at all. Also random disconnects from the PS5. It was never ready to launch but they want their money, screw the customers satisfaction!
@@chriswood3736 well sorry that happen too you, but did you update your PS5 to the latest software, did you update your headset to the latest firmware, then after all that restart your PS5 and power it back on then you should be able to connect just fine, cause with me using the earbuds they pair perfect to the PS5 and Portal never have no problems and with the elite headset it will do the same when you do it correctly

But that’s why it is SOLD OUT, it’s a Market Game cause PlayStation isn’t dumb, people complain about the limit features when it has more then people thing they just locked behind software updates. PlayStation did the same thing when the PS5 first release, wanted to see how the consumers would react and how it sells in the market, yeah this Portal is only the beginning.
@CraytonTv i mean $400 isnt to over priced but the portal only streams playstation and the buds there fine i guess but $400 added on to the $500 for the console is $900 console gaming is neckmeing as expensive and pc gaming but idc what people spend there money on i brought a £700 asus rog ally and i love it
