Our bullies waited at the bus stop after school lol

So glad to see K-Von, my favorite comedian, on the Dry Bar Comedy!!! ❤️

Love K-Von! Such a funny guy.

We had real bullies
The problem with "cyber bullies" is parents to don't teach these kids HOW to think instead of WHAT to think, so everything they hear they take to heart. Kids take things way too seriously, when it comes to their self esteem or ego; Which they barely understand at young ages. On the other hand physical bullies are often suffering in their own home and coping by picking on others. The kids that would bully me in middle/Jr high ended up being my closest friends in high school due to me actually getting to know them/ home life. The abuse whether verbal or physical will always get carried on to someone else, kid to kid, if there are no avenues for the parent to take the TIME to understand them. I get most parents don't like dealing with things like this but often the burden of the memories of abuse will always effect trust and communication in the real word after their education.
Not sure why I decided to post today but as someone who got bullied a lot, it created fork in the road. Keep taking it and ignore/ shove it down under and "forget " or face the problem by helping the bully face their problems.
Yesss
"Kids take things way too seriously, when it comes to their self esteem or ego"
Well true if it's just some stray comment or two, but in some cases of cyberbullying, there are full blown hate campaigns to some kids. Groups of people just writing hateful stuff, making fun of em, making up rumors that then affect everything in school halls aswell. Sure, it's something they can just not look at, but only knowing that alot of people are constantly spewing out toxic crap about you wouldn't feel great to anyone, let alone a growing kid or teen. Hell, if I make an effort, I can still remember how devastating shame was over trivial things. Get a new haircut, feel already insecure going to school and the first thing you hear is laughter and mockery and you hate yourself, your hair and your barber for the next week hoping you could just stay in bed when it's time to go to school. Which though ofcourse makes your sentiment right.. young people do take things seriously.. but I'd say it's an age where stuff like that hits hardest either way.
Don't get me wrong though; As comedy, this is all completely fine and I'm not bothered by it - I know how to take it, but having read this comment, I just think we shouldn't take any life lessons from comedic over-simplifications :)
You whine alot 🤷

It’s true
K von is back!!!!
As I'm sitting here eating a can of bean dip and a bag of ruffles.

K-VON! He da best!!
I had the same thing as a kid. I looked like I could fight, but I was the kindest, gentlest kid. So I got bullied. But did I kill myself? No. I decided to make something of my life and be happy about me. And, by the way, I'm still a very kind and gentle man.
That is good. For you. But, don't minimize what others might go through.
Being kind is refreshing & peaceful !!! Keep living your best life!!!
This is what I wanted to talk about, social media edgy teens thinking that suicide is an option. Talking about moral guidance, why are they advocating this kind of mess? Depression is not for edgy kool kids ._.
@@laei6391 I'm not sure what your point is. No one is advocating for suicide on social media if that's what you meant. To be clear, suicidality comes from depression, something that bullying, even cyberbullying, can contribute towards. Also, stop trying to gatekeep depression, that's disgusting.
Exactly!! Words only have the power you give them. Somewhere the younger generations were taught in public schoo that their feelers are the most important precious thing ever. Puke!!!
Thats right
True but now it's not just words. More and more kids are being impersonated with fake photos that can look very realistic. 60 Minutes Australia recently did an episode on this, and other shows have too.
We are real bullies I love it
It is a real thing when they go out of their way to engage you in the real World..
we need more from keyvan👍🏻👍🏻
They're just trying to be funny and they're good at it. But if they think "it's funny because it's true" there's one important thing they just don't get.
Even though I'm 37, I got that for today's kids a big part of their social life is online. If you tell them to just turn off their computer, you're basically telling them to not take part in a big part of today's social life. That's the equivalent of telling a kid in the 90ies to just stay away from the bullies. That also means staying away from the places where social life is happening.
To avoid the bullies in the past, you "just" had to stay home missing out on all the social life. Today, you "just" have to stay home and also offline missing out on all of the social life.
And please don't tell me nobody can punch you through the internet. Neither in the 90ies nor today bullies would have any problems bullying you without physical violence.
Kvon is freaking funny!
Have a feeling his idol is Mitch Hedberg…
But anyway I find both hilarious! Great work!
3:28 The laugh track Transition is see

the real issue with cyberbullying is that it often follows kids home. Yeah you had real bullies but once you went home from school they couldn't bother you. Cyberbullying keeps going. They make fake social media accounts, send emails, texts, etc. cyberbullying doesn't end with the school day.
You can report them I think...or heck just post their messages online...people with free time will do the rest
You can fully avoid it by staying off the parts of the internet where it happens. Also, real bullies and cyber bullies are cowards so just send a good solid punch their way and they'll leave you be.
Bruh.....just avoid them....block them.......and stop being afraid of them....those cowards can't do anything
Add to that, cyberbullying spreads to the real world, where entire schools can see the cyberbully's posts and attacks, and it can further lead to estrangement or direct mockery. It's not as simple as "don't go to those parts of the internet" when "those parts" are where everyone in your peer group exist online.
You must think the bullies lived at school? Obviously not. Kids had to deal with bullies in their neighborhood too.
When school bullies have to ability to harass you at home and school, it's a real thing. Sure you can "unplug", but why should it be the bullied child's responsibility to stop? "Coz it'll make them stronger." Yeah, and leave them with mental scars that'll follow them for the rest of their life likely, depending on how bad it is. How is that fair? "Life is unfair, kids should learn it." Trust me, kids will learn it from other ways. I was lucky enough to be homeschooled before it was an issue for me and I learned life wasn't fair, but I have multiple friends who still have to deal with the consequences of someone else not raising their child right. Cyberbullying may seemingly have "easier fixes", but it is a real thing in the age of the internet, and it's underlying cause should be addressed.
Yes, amen! Couldn't have said that better myself. Kids will always want to do what others are doing, no matter what their parents or experts tell them. It's up to the tech companies to make their apps more bully proof, and up to schools and the police to act on all bullying reports more seriously and quickly.
That's why Bullies giving some weak person a lesson.
Maybe just turn off the device and go touch grass.
Lmao just block them, it’s literally not an issue.
@@conbro0985 Coz it's totally impossible that one can just, yknow, get around that by making a new account to harass the person anyways still

Cyber bullying is super hilarious
Very timely, the rehearsed Will Smith WWE slap will most likely be remembered as the day offensive comedy died...
the slap was real from will. but It will have lasting affects and copycats
@@kvoncomedy best acting he's ever done... Naww Chris was expecting and braced himself for it... Just bread and circus infringing on you're rights 😉 great set MrOpener.
With hair like Gabriel R's, it wouldn't be considered cyber-bullying if Amazon sent him some coupons for conditioner, would it?
Gee social media ought to get like a "block" option for certain people you don't wanna hear from that are bullying you.
Most social apps do have blocking. But unfortunately that doesn't help in the many cases where kids are being impersonated and scandalized using fake photos and lies, which are spread around by other kids who don't know truth from fiction.
I know he's joking but at least when I went home, I went home and nothing happened. I was safe. Now they torment you in school and at home. Yikes!!!
🤣😂

Twitter out of your snap chat! Love it. Then the internet "fat list". Great! Jack in front of the King once. Too much! Siri is a cyber bully! Oh no! One of the kids from School 4 escaped! Oh no. No no no.
It is real
Lots of funny stuff but... Please don't underestimate cyber bullying. It is often the start of more serious in-person bullying for our young people. They can't just 'turn the computer off' because their social life is played out on social media. Turning off the computer means cutting themselves off from their peers completely and that can have a devastating effect. The fact that our generation had 'real bullies' doesn't make cyber bullies any less real. So, let's laugh about but don't underestimate the damage!
teach the kids to block ignore and hit the gym.
@@kvoncomedy in theory it's a good idea, in practice it doesn't work. Plenty of kids can't afford a gym (or don't want to go to one) and as I said before social media is very much part of their lives. Of course they should be encouraged to engage in other activities but I don't see why they should give up something they enjoy. Better to tackle cyber bullying and make social media safe and enjoyable for all.
Then maybe they need to get off social media and go outside for a change
@@Boogy816perhaps you don't appreciate that for so many kids there isn't an 'outside' and if there is, it isn't an environment you would want them to hang around.
@@pinco40 I've been cyberbullied, and that doesn't makes sense to me until these comedy stands as a stronger signal to my social rights. I love comedies like this

Cyber bullies? It's so easy to ignore them. As to real life bullies...back in 1963, when teachers assigned seats to students based on the first letter of their last name, I was seated next to a boy. Not my choice. That's just how the boy-girl ratio worked out. A girl in the room liked that boy and decided to "jump" me as I exited the room. I beat the sh*t out of her. Funny thing...no other person ever tried to beat me up after that, and the girl and I became good friends.
I have an online stalker who has been following me and posting to my comments under different names. I think it helps to use an understanding of logical fallacies to deflate their arguments. Think it destroys them when they fail that way.
@SlaveLaboringKid
Lol.
@@b_uppy Yes. Plus, you can always delete your comment and repost, or engage the mute option.

Cyberbullying is very bad it can lead to real bullying be careful of those awful people I worry about you
That's why they make a comedy of how can you solve this with common sense and basic mentality without protesting over anti cyberbullying from the internet. I was also bullied no bragging, they're lucky they can move anywhere when they get offended in their phone screens.
A anime protagonist is a lot like a mafia godfather that's a magician and martial artist
Tell the parents of teens who’ve lost their lives to s*****e that cyber bullying isn’t real or a “joke”.
Zero people lost their kid to cyberbullying. Unless the bully hacked in and unplugged their life support machine…Good job 👍 you just proved yourself wrong!
@@kvoncomedy nah. children do/can kill themselves based on the bullying they receive online. its pretty pathetic but it happens.
Kids today unfortunately do live online
Instagram
Tik tok etc
It isn't as simple as saying no they can just unplug it or walk away
Go by a high school see how many kids have their phones out
I was shocked to see a group of probably 6th graders walking with their teachers at the school almost every kid had their nose in a phone 📱 I get the humor aspect but no it's more dark humor but everyone is different
Kids need to be taught and learn about logical fallacies that are used to debase people and their opinions. While the saying 'a criticism may have a grain of truth' may be truthful, some people assume or teach it necessarily reflects on the recipient, rather than the person taunting, disagreeing, what have you.
Bullying can especially be powerful when kids (and sometimes teachers, parents, etc) gang up against individuals or smaller groups.
@UCs_3PPDBUe3x37xxq_D_Ivg
You're thinking cyberbullying alone, and forgetting the ways it can happen. An unfortunate picture can weigh heavily.
Will somebody please advise Jordan Makin about sitting crunched up before he comes out? All those wrinkles on his shirt has the look of someone who slept in his clothes.
The comedians are really good but honestly I feel like they’re poking fun of an issue that is very real for some people sometimes you can’t just delete a person because sometimes it’s a lot of people and they’re reposting it everywhere
Yeah, it's led to a lot of suicides.
Yes. Exactly.
If you watch stand comedy be prepared to be roasted. Don't be like Will Smith
@@JustOneAsbesto Suicide is not an option. They need to breathe a fresh air from the nature. Monkeys live better than most of us
Jordan Makin shouldn't talk about improv troops being not funny because he wasn't very funny himself. He's not wrong, but he isn't funny either.
Sometimes most of the comments here on Dry Bar seem like they were written by a certain comedian's family, or even the comedian themselves using sockpuppet accounts.
This is one of those videos.
Very sad, dude. I guess someone can't handle negative comments online, and he needs his family to spam the internet about how good he is at comedy so he can feel good about himself.
So anyone who liked anything in the video and said it out loud must be a family member or the comedians themselves?
Hmh. I guess that's one way to see it.
@@sarcasm-83 No, not anyone. But when a large percentage of comments are just saying a specific comedian's name in a certain way, it absolutely reeks of deliberate promotion instead of honest fandom.
It seems like they're saying his name to manipulate the algorithm in a very deliberate way. The comments are not written in any way that a normal human talks. They are written like promotional material.
@@JustOneAsbesto Ah I see. Yeah I do admit I see a whole ton of that one guy's name being namedropped. But who knows...
@@sarcasm-83 " is the BEST comedian!!!!!!!" and then he responds directly. And that's what half of the comments are. Yeah, that's a major red flag.
I really wouldn't be surprised if they were all just him.
@@sarcasm-83 Honestly, just the fact that he's this present in the comments is a bad sign. Successful comedians don't get into arguments in youtube comments.

@@kvoncomedy Yeah, the point is.. they're pointless (pun). It's not funny because you rely on your feelings. Set them aside and show your sense of humor. I also get bullied back then. Does it offend me? Hell no. Kvon is a legend
Old
If you don't understand that there is a normal, natural, reasonable and beneficial reason for bullying then you are still a child, regardless of your age.
I- what...? Are-are you advocating for bullying? Something that traumatized my younger brother so badly that he is still dealing with the consequences of it?
Always sided with the bullied kids on my class and befriended them as I felt like they didn't deserve it and then got my share of bullying, which made me quite scared to go to school.
I'm now 38 and have suffered from heavy social anxiety all my life and my mind always goes to expecting some altercations from people, even if I full well know it shouldn't. They just manifest as intrusive insecurities and I'm quite sure they all stem from bullying.
So yeah, I guess I'm a child since I don't know how bullying helped me.
Maybe somehow some way for some very specific personalities, it can toughen a person up and make them stronger but that is absolutely NOT the case for all personalities and can easily entirely destroy a developing human's sense of self and confidence.
Don't spew out life lessons like this or take stand up comedy as educational material, please. Comedy is fine, but just know it massively exaggerates.
