*Absolutely fascinating discussion with you guys, and what is fantastic with Dan Richter is that for the price of just 1 legend we actually get 2 !!... Since Dan Richter on top of having been John Lennon and Yoko Ono's personal assistant was the actor/mime artist impersonating that ape throwing the bone in the air in Stanley Kubrick's "2001 A Space Odyssey" !... What an unusual professional journey the man's had !!... But anyway, you know what ?... The Claudio story is poignant and eerie at the same time. Because apart from his personal tragedy, he is also a reminder that about 10 years later, another guy in that kind of emotionally unstable state went up to Lennon's personal address too, only this time the man had a gun and shot John at bloody point range. This is what has bugged me throughout the Claudio story I must say and I just couldn't help but think of Mark David Chapman the whole time...*
Thanks for this, I know what you mean. I'm confronting that in the documentary, looking at obsessed fans and whether Curt Claudio was similar to Mark Chapman. It's an ugly part of the research, but it has to be done. thanks again for your comments
@@whathappenedtoclaudio And was he anything like Chapman. Seems to me that although the obsessions were similar, they were in no shape or form, alike. This poor boy came in peace & hope. May he R.I.P.
He was very violent, even after the give peace a chance thing, The lost weekend, he was kicked out of a las vegas casino, for being argumentative and kicking off.
lol he wasn't violent, he was human, and human beings don't have just one side, but what he chose to promote was peace, and he sang this all over the world and obviously he did more in 10 years than 10 generations of vast majority of people.
Yes, he was distraught. His girlfriend at the time has told us that he would sit for hours listening to John's Double Fantasy album. He was transfixed with the song Watching The Wheels. Unfortunately Curt, himself would be dead one year later.

The crux of interviewing is listening, not saying yeah yeah yeah no pun intended.

Yes it was!
Does anyone know what Court Claudio's reaction to John Lennon's death?
Yes, he was distraught. His girlfriend at the time has told us that he would sit for hours listening to John's Double Fantasy album.

from an airplane crash.
He was just 33 years old.
Great question. Sad Story
I hope they met again in heaven ♡
Everyone there KNEW he was hungry because he had been sleeping out there for days. Who wouldn't have fed a starving person? I would have.
A LOT of people wouldn't feed a starving person... C'mon. Pay attention to the world around you.

So did John pay for the filming ?
Yes, he did. His company Bag Productions did.
I can't think of anyone I know personally who would not have tried to help a mentally ill kid, and offered him a bite to eat. What a load of bunk.
Yea but....Their NOT John Lennon.....And Lennon has a bit of status..Don't you think!!!!!!
