I’ve watched every video and can’t wait for the Grand Finale of Animal Kingdom Lodge. I’ve been dreaming of staying there since I visited during my one and only WDW trip 15 years ago. Your series has inspired me to start planning a trip. I don’t know when yet but it’s decided at will stay in a Lion King suite at Art of Animation for most of the trip with t the last two days at AKL.

It’s so true Chris. I think what makes a great vacation memory for kids is how much fun they had with their parent(s). If you are stressed and fussy it’s not fun and that is what the kids will remember but if you are relaxed and just enjoying the time with your kid(s) they will remember it as an amazing time.

I agree with Chris Provost. Taking a vacation is not cheap. I went to Disneyland last year in 2023 and I stayed at a hotel on Harbor Blvd and Katella Avenue and it was almost $400 a night. Plus airline flight to SoCal from the San Francisco Bay Area.

LOVE THIS SERIES!! We haven't missed one vlog! What are we going to do with ourselves when this is over? LOL this is like a nightly tradition for us so think of another thing you can do maybe for 35 days straight lol we are Mega PPP fans and we love you guys sending a hug from Miami Florida❤❤❤
W stayed at OKW back in 2005. We are not DVC members but had a huge one-bedroom suite. Being OKW was the very first DVC on property they tend to have the largest rooms. Also I think it is the one resort that really feels like you are in a small community filled with cul-de-sac neighborhoods. The one negative is that if you are staying further from the main lobby and resort bus transportation it is either a very long walk to the front or you take the OKW resort shuttles and if you miss one it can be 15 minutes before they come by again, then you still have to get on the bus to the parks. So you really need to plan a lot of time. We would leave our room often at least 45 minutes before the time we want to get to get to one of the parks.
Thank you again and again for taking on this grand measure. We all know you're tired. Remember if necessary to take some down time. We get it. Stay hydrated and skidmark free.
That is so sad about reception staff at OKW. I had the best welcome a few years back when I stayed 2 nights there when I was getting married. So much so I popped in to see the lovely lady that booked me in when I was all ready and she burst in to tears x
You made it!!! Yay! I'm looking forward to Animal Kingdom lodge. We stayed there when my mom was still with us. She had alzheimers and said she wanted to visit Africa. Traveling with someone with alzheimers is challenging, so we took the easy route and went to Animal Kingdom. It was so much fun for mom to see all the animals on the resort. She really enjoyed watching her great grandkids enjoy the resort too.

Old Key West is my favorite. It really does set the mood for Key West. I actually preferred the rooms before the restyling because Key West is not “new “ looking. We did a family vacation in the three bedroom two story resort. It was perfect.
Really hope you do a video on the Swan and Dolphin resorts at some point. I know they aren't Disney resorts but they have the same perks as Disney resorts.
I may be in error, but I believe the WDW buses no longer serve the Swan and Dolphin. During the pandemic that service was discontinued and the hotels started offering their own shuttle service.

W stayed at OKW back in 2005. We are not DVC members but had a huge one-bedroom suite. Being OKW was the very first DVC on property they tend to have the largest rooms. Also I think it is the one resort that really feels like you are in a small community filled with cul-de-sac neighborhoods.
The one negative is that if you are staying further from the main lobby and resort bus transportation it is either a very long walk to the front or you take the OKW resort shuttles and if you miss one it can be 15 minutes before they come by again, then you still have to get on the bus to the parks. So you really need to plan a lot of time. We would leave our room often at least 45 minutes before the time we want to get to get to one of the parks.

That is so sad about reception staff at OKW. I had the best welcome a few years back when I stayed 2 nights there when I was getting married. So much so I popped in to see the lovely lady that booked me in when I was all ready and she burst in to tears x

I'm looking forward to Animal Kingdom lodge. We stayed there when my mom was still with us. She had alzheimers and said she wanted to visit Africa. Traveling with someone with alzheimers is challenging, so we took the easy route and went to Animal Kingdom. It was so much fun for mom to see all the animals on the resort. She really enjoyed watching her great grandkids enjoy the resort too.

Southern Gravy aka Sawmill Gravy is made with; bacon/sausage fat. While "Normal" gravy is made with chicken or beef fat.

Old Key West is my favorite. It really does set the mood for Key West. I actually preferred the rooms before the restyling because Key West is not “new “ looking. We did a family vacation in the three bedroom two story resort. It was perfect.
Really hope you do a video on the Swan and Dolphin resorts at some point. I know they aren't Disney resorts but they have the same perks as Disney resorts.
I may be in error, but I believe the WDW buses no longer serve the Swan and Dolphin. During the pandemic that service was discontinued and the hotels started offering their own shuttle service.
