MrThrash3d this is easily Slayers strongest album and for me the biggest reason for that is the solos. If I were to make a top 10 Slayer solos list I guarantee 6 or 7 of them would be from Show No Mercy

So, this was the song that started it all for me. I bought this compilation album which had this song on it. The following day I went out to buy Show no Mercy, which was a great album. I liked Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, so I felt right at home. But it was only when Hell Awaits came out that I realized I was stuck in a bottomless pit of eternal Slayer fandom. Been burning happily ever since.
I'm from a cut throat country and this bygone metal killer just so beautiful and forever alive. No social media thumbs to score comments either.

First heard this in '85 camping for Maiden at Red Rocks. After that I was done with maiden for a few years,(not because they got better. They certainly did not. I just got sentimental.) I still like everything up to Powerslave, Point is, it changed me forever (good music will do that) within a year I was listening exclusively to Hard Core though out my teens. The stuff they would cover on aggression. ffwrd 30 years and all the different music i have heard and played and this still holds up. SLAYER RULES!
