- My Utility Refrigerated Trailer (Reefer) was filthy from the last load. They made a big mess. Somebody had to clean it up! Watch as Enrique at Triple X Transport and Refrigeration does an outstanding job washing out this trailer.

Great video. FYI if you you need to dry out your trailer asap before getting your next load there is an intelliset option to dry it out quick. Took about 45 minutes the last time I used it
Yep, I've had to use it, and you definitely want to use it in winter. In the older units, it's called High Air.

There are so many support industries that I didn’t k ow about. Do they use a disinfectant or straight water
Just regular water at this place. There are some shippers that require the trailer to be sanitized and they use a sanitizing agent at those washouts. It's primarily for raw meat loads.

Can you just go to a regular truck wash and get your trailer clean or do you have to go to a special cleaning place to wash your trailer?
Most truck wash places do trailer washouts as well. Some places do washouts and not truck washes.
@@JJtheTrucker also they fill out certificates too as well(?correct) for pickups along with sanitizer?...

A leaf blower is a valuable tool to have for trailer clean outs but there are times that only a washout will do.
You ain't Kiddin. There's only so much my compact Ryobi leaf blower can do LOL.
@@JJtheTrucker one thing that has always annoyed me is that these companies require you to have a clean trailer to get load but when you have to unload for the same company they don’t mind leaving you with a mess. They should be required to at least sweep out the mess they made. That would cut down on drivers cleaning out their trailers in their yard.

The average is around $45 but can vary by region and shop.
Oh, and Prime pays for it.
One time, I payed $75 for washout. Price will start at $45, but if it’s heavily dirty…. the starting price rise up

$40 just seems a little cheap for a trailer washout. Of course non chain locations tend to be cheaper, less overhead.

Yep, off duty. Though it's always on duty driving to the washout.
