- Barcelona takes on Girona in La Liga action at the Estadi Montilivi in a match that will decide/give a huge advantage to who will finish second place and book their ticket to Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Super Cup in January 2025. The final derby of the season sees both teams coming into this match on decent form but have suffered as of late. The blaugrana side is two points ahead of Girona which means a draw in this match would favor them. Xavi said in his press conference this morning that this is not the time to talk about signings, we are playing for second place, we have five games left, and right now we think about the players we have. Overall this is a moment for the Barcelona players and coaching staff to instill some hope for next season, they've choked every single big match this season, now this isn't a BIG match per say, but it's a moment where we can achieve our final objective by one game and not to pray we don't slip up again.

Alonso was terrible, Ingo is injury prone as hell, Lewa is hindering young CFs from developing for indivdual glory and his salary is killing barca in FFP, Ferran is a rotation player at best but spent over 50 mil on him and Romeu has been a total bust.
This news of Kimmich, Olmo, pushing Vitor out and now him wanting Garcia and not giving Faye a chance is crazy to me.
Dont forget to he chose to hold onto Alonso for 2 seasons to long and not pursue Grimaldo on a free transfer.
