This sermon had me in tears … cleansing tears … I want to know more! I thank God for you pastor Paul & your teachings. I thank God for having this media to access your teachings. I pray to God that he will bless you and yours always!!!! 🙏💕
Yes, we need to be humble and repent of our sins and obey God. Then the Kingdom of Heaven will open to us. Pride is our worst enemy that we need to ask God to help us conquer. Thank you Pastor for waking us up instead of preaching about wanting more and more material riches in life. When we obey God, God will take care of us.
Thank you for your sermons. This one had me on the edge of tears during the 2nd half. I had been calling myself a Christian for over 20 years but I was far from the Lord. He was never far from me though, I can see that now. He brought me face to face with my deceitful heart. I was lost and broken. As you said, I had to GRAPPLE. WRESTLE. Before He finally set me free from my brokenness. Fear no longer has a hold on me. Glory be to God alone. All praise to Him. He rescued me. It was not an easy road. But it is through the grappling and wrestling that we learn to FULLY rely on God. And when we FULLY rely on Him, the doors to his mercy and grace open up like flood gates into the spirit. Praise God. Praise God.
We all have been dealt a bad deck of cards whether it is the sin of others or the pride of blessings or avoiding the stress/sin that others bring or the inability to fully control our cursed state. Thank God for Jesus' grace who knows us completely and helps us through the hard and narrow path. Thank you pastor Paul for your blessed and relatable comfortable teachings and generosity to the world through every chapter of God's Word. Thank you Heavenly Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for mercy every morning day and night.
Amen Amen 🙏 Thank you Pastor Paul we are sinners and only by Jesus's blood we are cleaned and through faith we receive grace. Thank you for teaching us to have the desire to willingly listen, pay attention, think deeper and opening our hearts for God's riches. Blessings Pastor Paul and to your loved one's. 🙏❤
Oh, that was a beautiful, wonderful sermon. Thank you. Our God is SO GOOD. Will you all please pray for me? The last few months have been very hectic in that so many people I know have been dealing with very serious health issues (surgeries, hospitalizations, all kinds of things) and now this past week I was diagnosed with breast cancer. But I know God is good because while I'm not out of the woods and will still have surgery and the rest, my diagnosis has already changed from Stage 1 to Stage 0, which was an incredible "Praise Jesus!" moment. But more prayer can never hurt. Thank you and God bless you Pastor Paul and all of my brothers and sisters in Christ.
It would be my joy to pray for you Katie D....... keep looking up .....the KING is coming very soon to take us home. Gilly wife of Mark God bless and keep this woman Katie D and all those she knows with health issues....thank you Father for helping her this far ... you know the journey she is on and I pray you will be with her on the journey. I ask this in the name of our Lord and King...Jesus....Amen.
Thank you Pastor Paul Awesome teaching I have listened several times. With a grateful heart and praise to God that in your teaching you have shown the light of Christ and illuminating Christ and
Have a Blessed Day. ThankYou! :) I take You as the Gifted Story Teller of Truths! I Hope You realize that. Been listening to You since 9/2017. God Blesses You!
Eternally grateful that I have decided to come and trust in Christ and also to be able to learn with Pastor Paul That was exactly what my response was when I was asked on a scale of 1-10 how certain I am in getting into heaven- I said I’ve never committed any crimes so why shouldn’t I? But then I was opened to Jesus and truly got the understanding of what he did on the cross, that he sacrificed for us sinners And it just totally blew my mind. I have to admit that my faith was very unstable at the beginning, hence all the excuses why I could not read the Bible or pray, but now I have been reading God’s words everyday, and I definitely do feel like I have been growing and filled with His wisdom. I am very excited to understand more about His words as I read on and thank you Pastor Paul for another insightful sermon ❤
Amen! That is WONDERFUL! Praise God!! (And when I first come to Christ and learning about God, I was telling the mentor God placed in my path to teach me about Him, "Well, it's not like I'm Hitler or the Marquis de Sade?" but she taught me about sin AND explained how God doesn't look at us and deal with us in comparison to others. He deals with each of us individually. And the more I learned from God's Word the more I understood that, too!) Ohh, He's SO good! God bless you and keep you on your journey with our Lord Jesus. 🙂
What a blessing you are to those longing to grow in Christ, Pastor Paul! I often watch your videos to help with my own teaching at our ladies’ Bible study. We are a little east of Twin Falls and, since I occasionally quote you, the ladies have expressed interest in a girls’ weekend in Boise and a visit to your church in Ontario on a Sunday morning! Someday we’ll do that, Lord willing! 🙂 God is good and we praise Him!
On the part wher3 you talk about God speaking the way he does for his people to seek him. I was thinking of the verse that says not to cast your pearls to swine. Gods word cannot be devalued but in the hearts of the people who trample on God's word it will be. Thats why when it comes to skeptics and the hard hearted they often say that same scripture that have heard for years just hits them one day with revelation when they finally submit to Christ.
I was having a conversation with my unsaved husband last night about a comment someone made about pedophilia not being that far away from watching porn bc that is still someone's daughter the viewers are abusing nihilistically. My husband was so distraught and angry and this. And i told him while it wasn't the best way or time for this man to say this. I told my husband I agreed to an extent. I said if God put a jar of a million dollars on a table and said none of you touch this. And you take 20 dollars and another takes 10,000 dollars we are both in the wrong. No matter how much both of those men took they both disobeyed God. I said the only reason I would bring up this analogy was if someone was trying to justify their sin by comparing it to a greater sin as to make themselves a little too comfortable with sin. Or if someone was trying to condemn someone as the men in the Bible were trying to condemn the adulterous women with stones. My husband just converted to Islam and it is just like the old testament jew or people that practice the old law, but refuse to grow in Christ or have a real relationship with God. He doesnt eat pork and trys to follow all of the Islamic laws. Islam also teaches that there is no redemption for those who go too far in sin, like unjustified murder, rape, etc... and that every good thing you do is tallied and hopefully all the good things you do outweigh the bad things and you get extra credit points if you fast and pray when told to. Its really sad to see the disconnect. He has broght to my attention the very many parts in the Bible he claims are the reason he doesn't not belive it. He says he wants to but he doesn't want to be fooled. He most definitely believes he is a good person and wrestles with Pride. But I do see him wrestling sometimes with it and God sees his heart and intend to and will cleanse his heart. My prayer is for the people that are blind and deaf in spirit, lame and seized up in hardness. That they would have the eyes to see and the ears to hear. That they would get up from their place of stagnacy, unbelief, doubt and seek God. That every area that has paralyzed them into lepers would be removed in its time and that they would see themselves clearly and see God for all that he is perfectly, cast away their pride to the depths of hell in Jesus name and be made one with God! In Jesus name, amen.
Very insightful, although I have a question about the interpretation of verse 9-10 ( Jeremiah 17:9-10 ). The heart is "desperately wicked", and verse 10a, "try the reins". Some new interpretations are questionable in my view,, I'll stay with my good ol' King James!
Only those who our Father brought to Jesus in faith through grace will believe.
Thank you, Pastor Paul! Jesus knows what's in my heart. I invite you, my Lord, to cleanse my deceitful heart 🤍
감사합니다!! Thank you, Pastor Paul!! as always!
