Is it possible to make a stiff, thickish feather point the other way? I often have a pack of feathers where they're all pointing slightly left, but I want half to point right

You should be able to do it! Thick feathers are the tough ones though for sure. If they are REALLY THICK you might have to cut a few triangle slices in the quill to create a bend in the opposite direction.
