To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

I share your weird ear shape, it seems. Took me WEEKS to figure out the only way they would stay in is if I wear them upside down. That is, where the wire, instead of falling down from my ear, actually has to point UP and make kind of a loop back down. I suppose the advantage there is that it actually brings the microphone up next to my mouth, instead of below my chin ... but it looks and feels weird. One of the reasons I hate all earbuds with that angled design to them. Never had that issue with straight earbuds before. But try rotating them 180 degrees ... maybe they'll stay in your ears that way, like they do mine. #weirdmutantearcanals

How about the constant hissing?
I never had that happen with mine. Maybe it's not the headphones but your device...have you tried them on another device?
Nice review only issue is theirs no I such thing as usb mini c is USB-C only as its own separate standard
Thank you and I totally understand that I just miss spoke in the video (newbie) I think I spent so many years saying Micro USB that my brain was not wanting to say USB-C lol
@@AtHomewithLucas haha all good and perfectly understandable. I'm so glad usb C is replacing the flimsy and slow usb micro b port It was a great video over all.
Yeah now we just need Apple to join the USB-C movement 🙄 lol
@@AtHomewithLucas not a apple fan at all but apple going for a obviously better port and becoming universal (aka usb c on all their products) would be epic. They already moved to usb C charging on alot of their high end newest laptops.
Is it good for gaming?
Yes very good...no lag
Just bought one today, it's expected to arrive in 2/3 days, will post my review aswell...
100% right 👍
😁🙏
do they have built in DAC?
Yes they should have one 👍
does it work with M1 iPad?
Yes 👍
I just watched to learn which earphone went in which ear? There's no "R" or "L" on them... and you didn't touch on that. Maybe you had them in backwards? :-)
No the video was flipped so everything looked off
When I connect the headphones in to the charging port the sound still comes through the phone and not the headphones. Any ideas?
Do you have Developer Mode turned on?
What phone are you using?
Its a Samsung galaxy note 10. Not sure about developer mode, where do I find that?
Found it, says developer mode already enabled.
@@darrenwallace5251 okay go to developer then down to (Default USB configuration) click on that then click the first button
I got one with my note 20....sadly its not working. Sucks. Pre order sucks.
Oh no that's no fun. What's wrong with them?
@@AtHomewithLucas hii is this earphone compatible with other devices, such as Xiaomi?
Maybe...what is the model number?

They are with noice canceling?
No
I bought these off Amazon. Caller says there's loud noise that won't stop until I unplug them so I'm not sure if knock off or just not right? I don't know. Lol
Sounds defective
Is that earphone have noise cancellation?
Yes they do 😁
is it compatible with s9 plus?
Yes 👍
Hi does this work for calls ??
Very clear audio for calls
Thanks for the info and to know there are more like me out there lol 😆
Much better tha Bluetooth, Bluetooth has a huge latency
Yes bluetooth headphones are just not perfect yet...even tho they are close to being perfect 👌 🙃
