It's one big flexy rod wrapped in silk. Suggestion sis, once you set your hair dry, then spray with a hair spray, mousse or setting lotion for hold! Came out good though 🤩

When I do this I just the belt off an old fleece robe with a little mousse. The belt makes it super simple to sleep in and it’s easier to get the hair in the back. Because it’s so quick I do re-wrap every night or every other night. Results are always perfect, effortless, no-heat curls.
I bought this right when I saw the go sleek ig video and my results came out similar! I also did a side part. The wear doesn’t really last for me but I just redid it every night since it was so quick to install. Looks great!!!

I feel like just doing 2 French braids would give you something similar. The curls wouldn't look as perfect, but I prefer a more of messy / natural curl look, and less "curl wand-y"
Your hair looks gorgeous! A styling gel like something from Uncle Funky's Daughter Curly Magic; Curl Stimulator gel or the Wet line gel probably would combat the poof from the humidity. As far as the back of the hair goes, I just think it needed a little bit more fluffing at the roots that's all... Thanks for trying the headband styler out!

I purchased this product a few months ago, but I'm legally blind & could not see the instructions well, needless to say I was frustrated and wanted to toss the whole thing. Use a headband. Look it up. Headband body waves
I love the look. To make the curls last long try using a foaming wrap. And the curler isn't really needed. I just use my robe belt and scrunchies.
