"There's wrong and there's worse" That line makes me think that Jason (at least in this version) is plenty conscious that what he does is wrong and that he is not better than most of the criminals he fights. That line makes me think that Jason (at least in this version) is plenty conscious that what he does is wrong and that he is not better than most of the criminals he fights. Yet, he still does it because he knows that with every murderer, rapist and drug dealer he takes down, he helps to make the world a little better at the cost of his soul. He kills so nobody else has to do it.
