Hi April! I would love if you did a video on styling curly hair for photographs! I love my natural curls but am kind of lost with what to do for professional photos. I’ve learned that what looks good in person doesn’t always photograph well. I’ve got a headshot for work coming up (think law firm, blazer, will be out there on the Internet for the rest of my career no pressure lol!) and I’d love any tips you have, especially photograph friendly up dos.
Hi Nicolette! Yes, that is a challenge! Here are a few tips: If your hair will be over your blazer, choose a blazer color that contrasts with your hair and compliments you. If you choose an updo hairstyle, you can pose at a bit of an angle so that you can still see some of your hair.
