mercilessv nowadays they tailor acts musicians and movies on things that worked in the past. i don't know if it's shear laziness or just the assumption that as for remakes in movies , to sort of remaking a bands vibe could guarantee it's success. most of the time it fails though. you cannot capture in imitating what was great about a movie or a band.

The Struts are brilliant! I've recently been introduced to this "glam rock" styled band. I love the modern retro video as well as I do the music. With slight similarities to that of Freddie Mercury and also Alice Cooper, Luke Spiller possesses a tremendous voice for this song and, indeed, its entire Genre. The song, as a whole, is extremely catchy, free-spirited and cool. I love it!
I met them. They are wonderful young men. Luke called out my shirt and I felt like a giddy school child. I was 49 years old. Saw a teen outside the venue and he saw my swag bag. I can't begin to tell you how much I relate to this. I've always compared myself to my sister (we aren't twins tho; she's 2 years older than me). Either way, the fact that she graduated college, has traveled a lot, a car/license, and has more money than me always made me feel like a failure in comparison. Especially with how my dad and mom praised her throughout the years. I've always felt like life was a race. That I had to be at this certain point in life or that meant I'm too lazy or not striving enough. I realize now that for one, that's super unfair to myself. And two, we're both at different points in life; different people, more imporantly. I feel like I should give myself credit more for the things I have accomplished rather than dwelling on what I haven't yet. Once I was able to have deeper talks with her and develop a better relationship, I soon discovered what she was insecure and worried about, as well as the ways she admires me and relates to me. Just remember that your sister ain't perfect. I guarantee she doesn't always have it together. And I'm not saying this to crap on your sis I'm just saying we're all human. lol this song has definitely made me feel like I should take it day by day, take more risks, and overall focus on my own personal journey rather than comparing /worrying about not being at a certain pace. I'd never heard of this band before 10 mins ago. I took an extremely odd route to find them. I closed my eyes and clicked a random movie on Netflix. I then looked up one of the actresses in the movie and saw that she was married to the bass player of this band. I looked at the influences of the band and realised I was a big fan of nearly every band listed so thought I'd give The Struts a go. And I'm glad I did. What a great song!

This is the song that made me realize I was terrified of success. I lost friends in highschool because I was talented and they were jealous, so I've intentionally held myself back for 2 decades. But I don't to be scared anymore. I'm not going to say it could have been me. It will be.

The Struts are brilliant! I've recently been introduced to this "glam rock" styled band. I love the modern retro video as well as I do the music. With slight similarities to that of Freddie Mercury and also Alice Cooper, Luke Spiller possesses a tremendous voice for this song and, indeed, its entire Genre. The song, as a whole, is extremely catchy, free-spirited and cool. I love it!
Watch the movie "Velvet Goldmine" the end is kinda wonky but if you like glam rock, you'll love it.
I met them. They are wonderful young men. Luke called out my shirt and I felt like a giddy school child. I was 49 years old. Saw a teen outside the venue and he saw my swag bag. Told him how you're always told to never meet your heroes. Totally opposite with The Struts! Met them. Laughed. Love them even more.

I can't begin to tell you how much I relate to this. I've always compared myself to my sister (we aren't twins tho; she's 2 years older than me). Either way, the fact that she graduated college, has traveled a lot, a car/license, and has more money than me always made me feel like a failure in comparison. Especially with how my dad and mom praised her throughout the years. I've always felt like life was a race. That I had to be at this certain point in life or that meant I'm too lazy or not striving enough. I realize now that for one, that's super unfair to myself. And two, we're both at different points in life; different people, more imporantly. I feel like I should give myself credit more for the things I have accomplished rather than dwelling on what I haven't yet. Once I was able to have deeper talks with her and develop a better relationship, I soon discovered what she was insecure and worried about, as well as the ways she admires me and relates to me. Just remember that your sister ain't perfect. I guarantee she doesn't always have it together.
And I'm not saying this to crap on your sis I'm just saying we're all human. lol this song has definitely made me feel like I should take it day by day, take more risks, and overall focus on my own personal journey rather than comparing /worrying about not being at a certain pace. Just fucking LIVE!!! :DD That's what this song screams out; and I know it's easier said than done, but I believe if my thoughts and feelings are changing about it (even though I still struggle with my old mentality often), I think yours can too! And I feel like it has already to an extent! :3 Always remember and remind yourself that you are worthy and matter! I'd never heard of this band before 10 mins ago. I took an extremely odd route to find them. I closed my eyes and clicked a random movie on Netflix. I then looked up one of the actresses in the movie and saw that she was married to the bass player of this band. I looked at the influences of the band and realised I was a big fan of nearly every band listed so thought I'd give The Struts a go.

I luv this song soo much because ive struggled hard with expressing myself to the point of nearly taking my life but hearing this song fulls me with so much vigor, i genuinely feel like i can take on thw world with a smile on my face, truly not giving a fuck what others think of me.
