Showrunners who were too afraid to try something that worked, simply because it was different. So much character dynamic and storytelling potential…. wasted. Producers who were too afraid to admit that SnowBarry worked and/or too stubborn change directions because it clashed with their “vision” of the show. I doubt they could comprehend the irony of this one line from Barry and how it could easily apply to the direction they took the show. Really such a missed opportunity for rich character dynamics and creative storytelling. For all for the superlatives I could use to describe why I love SnowBarry, the bottom line is that as a couple, Barry and Caitlin just work. The close friendship, the amazing on-screen chemistry, the superb relationship dynamic between these two, they simply work. My headcanon will always be that it’s Barry and Caitlin that got their happy ending together!
