Jesus, hear my prayers these past three years have been difficult on me I am weak. Give me guidance. Please come back soon I don’t know how much longer I can hold on. As a single parent things are hard on me both of my sons are autistic and my hours to work are limited because I’m now homeschooling them. I’m constantly struggling to provide the basic necessities for them I’m so ashamed. I suffered an heart attack and I’m battling lupus I’m overwhelmed. Father God hear my prayers. I constantly struggle to pay my bills and struggle to provide groceries. BUT I KEEP FAITH. Even though I want to give up. Jesus please take the fear from my heart. The stores have allowed shoplifting for so long that they’ve basically created this problem. My son was let go from Kroger a few yrs ago because he followed a shoplifter out to the parking lot and asked her to return the items. He was doing the right thing and was fired because it ‘went against store policy’. I don’t feel bad for the stores that’ve created their own mess, but I can definitely see how it could become everyone else’s problem with higher prices, etc

Brett cares very little about what the original hearers of the Old Testament thought those texts say. Even his New Testament exegesis is all about what the text means to “Us”….. Most of his eschatology utilizes absolute definitions of texts where there just isn’t any way to do that. His “cold-war” inspired definitions of Gog and Magog are quite laughable.
One of my favorite parts of Prophecy Update is when Brett presupposes a futurists view of scripture and then exegetes through that presupposition as if that’s what scripture says, when in fact it does not.

How can a person not know , by reading the Bible , you see the technical side. GOD show Moses a whole lot of things on the mountain when he went to talk to him. Brett cares very little about what the original hearers of the Old Testament thought those texts say. Even his New Testament exegesis is all about what the text means to “Us”….. Most of his eschatology utilizes absolute definitions of texts where there just isn’t any way to do that. His “cold-war” inspired definitions of Gog and Magog are quite laughable.
One of my favorite parts of Prophecy Update is when Brett presupposes a futurists view of scripture and then exegetes through that presupposition as if that’s what scripture says, when in fact it does not.
